My server was super friendly! He gets five stars. I have to say the pizza crust was burnt around the edges. I was not impressed, when you specialize in pizza. It's one thing to have a crispy crust, it's another when it is burnt it kind of ruins the taste. The Cesar salad is kind of strange with purple lettuce. Those leaves have an acquired taste. I have to say the croutons were the best part of that salad.

The Caesar salad made with radicchio was super impressive. The large plate that fed about 4 was fluffy and piled high with Parmesan and lightly dressed. I would have eaten all of it if I didn't need to save room for pizza. It was that good. The combination pizza was light and crispy and I liked how it was cut into squares. The deep crust pizza was just right for my son.

So good we were planning our next visit during our meal! It was exciting to get the kale salad, because my husband made it from Joshua McFadden's cookbook. His cookbooks are what inspired us to go, and we're so happy we did! The food is expertly made but approachable. Our party included some picky adults and everyone enjoyed what we ordered - arancini, Tuscan Calvary salad, meatballs, thin crust cheese pizza, pizza with mushrooms, pignoli cookies, cannoli,... We were raving about it between yum sounds. (Our next visit, we'll ditch the picky eaters to be more adventurous! We're curious about the kalette pizza, the thick crust pizza, the vegan pizza,...) Customer service was wonderful - attentive without being overbearing. There was always help when we needed it, without feeling rushed or intruded upon. The atmosphere is casual, fun, and comfortable. I cannot wait to go back!

The food is amazing - had the square cut, cracker thin pizza, arancini, the famous kale salad (yes it's that good!) the meatballs and dessert (Cannoli , pignoli cookies made next door at Ava Genes). It was also fun to order a pitcher of draft root beer. I can honestly say every item was perfectly prepared and popping with flavor. The service was top notch - we had questions about how much food to order for four and all questions were answered with patience. We had diners with us who do not like heat so chili flakes were left out of the salad with no problem. The server also accommodated our request to have four meatballs instead of the three that normally come with the order so that we could all try one, and she remembered that request when it came time to order dessert. It seems like many of the less flattering reviews are because of the 20% service charge for the staff but they absolutely deserve it and this policy is very clearly articulated on the menu and the website. You can add additional gratuity but there was no pressure to do so.Cicoria definitely deserves a spot on any top Portland pizza restaurants list. Next time i go will try the thick pan pizza.

Overly thin crust pizza exorbitantly overpriced considering pizzas are built with minimal toppings, or quality ingredients. Meatballs were dry, overcooked, charred/burnt on the outside. We will never eat here again.

So good! Skip the line at Kens and try a Cicoria’s delicious thin and crispy pizza. I love their pies because sometimes pizza can be too carby and leave you blotted and tired… not theirs! Also, Chef Will is always adding something new to the menu so that’s always fun. Bunch of seasonal stuff but great staples as well like a good old pepperoni pie. Caesar salad was “radicchiously” good. Service was fast and fun as well. Family friendly but still a great spot for date night or drinks and bite to eat with friends. Must try!!

Excellent! We got the white pizza, one slice of the pan pizza, arancini and tiramisu. Everything was absolutely delicious. We got it to go and there were three of us so it was helpful that the Arancini balls there were three and the white pizza was wonderful. We just had a little bit of a hot sauce to it and the pan pizza was so filling I don't see how anybody could eat more than half of a slice, but it was delicious and the crust was crispy around the edges and I would definitely reVisit this place.

Thin crust, but mediocre. My daughter was reminded of the pizzas they serve at dormitories in college.

Just tried this place for the first time as I was on a date with my partner tonight. Walked in, saw four staff members in the back of the bar just chatting since there were only 2 other tables and that’s fine but it did take 5 minutes to get seated by the host only after o stepped in their direct eyeline and looked at them. We got sat, someone who I’m pretty sure was not our server we were told, got our food and drink order and then we were waiting. They told us 6 minutes for a 12 inch. 15 min later a 24 inch comes out? My food and drink still have not arrived by the time my partners pizza did. Got briefly checked in on about 10 min later but only my partner was asked how everything was, no ask about my food or drink until I mention it and he says “oh yeah it’s coming right up”. Right after that a different server comes up and starts trying to take our order? Pretty sure he was the one who was supposed to be our server and we told him we’ve already been helped. About another 5 min my chicken parm which is labeled an appetizer so no idea why it came out so long after my partners food, finally gets set down and it’s over cooked. Way too crispy on the edges and the chicken itself was too dry for my liking. At that point we just wanted the check and only after the staff could tell I was upset, only them did we get an apology twice for how long everything took. And that was only by the second server. Never saw the server who actually served us after he said my chicken was coming up. Sneaky suspicion he was lead or manager since he greeted us and then dipped out when the customer showed distaste. Will never be coming back. The pizza was mid my partner said and the chicken overpriced and overcooked. One of the worst serving experiences I’ve had and I would know, I’ve worked in a restaurant for years and all I wanted was one night out where I was taken care of. There were four of you and only two tables who were already eating? What was the disconnect there? Don’t recommend

It was pretty overpriced, but a good spot for a big group where it will likely appeal to the masses. You want a delicious pizza hit Lombardos on Lombard and Portsmouth. We ordered mushroom pizza but the mushrooms were pretty sparse. Sad! I wanted to love it.

It's disheartening to share that I had an unfortunate encounter with the manager, Tyler (or Taylor). Their behavior left much to be desired, and I couldn't help but wonder how someone in the service industry could exhibit such rudeness.Tyler, I sincerely hope that you consider seeking the support you need, whether it be therapy or any other means, to address any personal issues that might be affecting your interactions with others. Treating people kindly and respectfully is a cornerstone of the service industry, and it's a skill that can be honed and improved
