My son and I both had chicken fried steak beeakfast. The hashbrowns are way above par. Cooked in butter? I think so. The sausage gravy had chopped links rather than crumbles but was good, just not a sufficient portion to enjoy with the hashbrowns. My wheat toast was toasted very dark - after many years as a single parent, just the way I've come to like it. My son didn't so a little nostalgia, and yeah for Dad! MORE TOAST!

One of the best breakfast chicken fried steaks I have ever had. Eggs were perfectly cooked to order(one set over easy, one set over medium). Very nice waitress and food came out quick. I love that they have a kids meal that is a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.Kid-friendliness: About 10 different kid meal options including breakfast meals and PB&J

I am unhappy to hear that the new owner has fired one of the best waitresses upon his taking over the restaurant. Kathy has been working for this restaurant for 8 years, has the best attitude, best service, and best smiles. She's so efficient you don't even have to ask her for your usual food. She's fast and we will miss her ? so much. I hope the new owner realizes it's against the law to fire people for age discrimination. I, for one, am going to pass this on to other patrons. Think about it!!!!

We went in for breakfast and ordered the Blueberry pancakes and Breakfast tostadas. The description for the tostadas said that there were two crispy tortillas with eggs, avocado, Ect. When the order arrived we did get 2 crispy tostadas but they were stacked on top of one another and then there was one egg, some avocado slices and a tone of green leaf lettuce. Not at all what we were expecting. The rice was seriously over cooked and flavorless and the beans had no flavor at all. When we bit into the tostada it tasted horrible. I don’t know if this is the case, but it tasted like the oil they used to fry the tostada was old and it tasted spoiled. We let the server know and she apologized and asked if we just wanted soft tortillas. We declined and then tried to take another bite but we could not eat it, it was so bad. We told the server we didn’t like it and she took the uneaten plate (less the two bites) and came back and said she would comp us the coffee. The blueberry pancakes were fine. They lacked flavor but other wise were standard diner pancakes. The scrambled eggs were not edible though. I took a bite and could not finish them because they also tasted very off. The bacon also had a really weird after taste. When we went to counter to pay and the hostess asked us how everything was, We told her about the tostadas and she apologized and still charged us for everything. I will say, the servers were very kind, however I don’t feel like the situation was handled very well. I could understand them still charging us if we had eaten the dishes we were unhappy with but they took back a completely full plate of tostadas and I feel it would have been better customer service not to charge for something that we didn’t eat. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

❌Worst apple pie we ever had. Go get one at the grocery store for cheaper and better than that. Don't consider yourself Americans selling apple pie like that.

I have eaten at Davidsons years ago..because of my sister who was all about non smoking resturants..and they were one of the first in Oregon..food was good nothing special..this visit 25yrs later..same nothing special..but the place was clean..and that's half the battle when looking for a restaurant..

The food here is amazing! Bring your appetite because small portions aren't their thing! They often have breakfast specials. But so far everything I have gotten had been delicious and you have to try their homemade Root Beer!!
I have been going here for years! HUGE portions for a good price. Service can be hot or cold, but always friendly. I have tried several breakfast items, and each one was perfect. The homemade Rootbeer is AMAZING!
