Tasty food and excellent service. One star off only because we ordered gulab jamun (premade) dessert and had so much of a delay that we finally had to leave without it. Though it wasn't on the menu, they made fresh lime soda for us and tasted pretty much like in India. We will go back.

It was a special birthday dinner. I mentioned that when I made the reservation. We were seated in a dark booth closest to the bathroom. I asked to be moved to one of the three empty booths. I was told, rather shortly, that all booths and spaces were reserved by others before us. There were lot of empty tables and two of the booths stayed empty the whole time we were there and were still open when we left. The food was good. That would be the only reason to go back.

Did a take out of chicken korma and a few biriyanis like lamb and chicken. The food was delicious even though a bit on the oily side. Hands down one of the best Indian foods I have had in the Portland area.

When you try to be cute with a simple thing like a samosa by cutting it in half and putting the chutneys on top, it is not a good start. When you do not have a lamb Seekh kabob should you advertise that you are an Indian restaurant? When you make a simple drink, Gin and tonic, and use soda water or watered done flat lemon lime? soda to make a two ingredient cocktail should you bother having a bar?

Outstanding food, drinks and service, and a very pleasant atmosphere. We've seldom had such a great Indian meal. We'll definitely be back. The only slight downside, which is not at all the restaurant's fault, is its location right across the street from the Central Library. The homeless / panhandling situation is even more intense than some other parts of downtown, which is saying something.

The service was very slow though, we waited for our food for almost 30mins. The quantity of the food was also questionable from the price point. The location is good but not sure if we will be going again.

The food and ambience was fantastic, nonetheless, we asked server to get a bigger dinner plates and we didnt got that! Unfortunately, we had to eat in the starter plates as you can see in the photo. We were shocked that you guys didn’t have dinner plates? That was strange!
