Prices have literally doubled in the last 8 years. Inflation in the last 10 years is only 30%. $13 for a 6inch sub before tip?? No thanks man

My favorite is the vegetarian dip! Sooooo good, it melts in my mouth! This local spot has been my go to sandwich shop for over a decade, you won't be disappointed.

Best French dip ever! All can be made to your taste, though. Sad, there's no seating area anymore. I totally understand why, though.

Beat sandwich in Portland hands down. They always have the freshest vegi's and their turkey cheddar is amazing.

How the mighty have fallen. Doughy, bun, very little meat in the roast beef sandwich. Roast beef grey, rather than pink, barely any taste of the horseradish sauce. On the plus side of the ledger, the macaroni salad is still excellent. But I will not be going back.

I used to go in here all the time and order the Italian. The sandwich was truly awesome, so packed with meat and cheese that it was difficult to eat. I hadn't ordered one for a long time and then last month I picked one up at the Hawthorne location, and to my surprise there was little meat on it. The prices have gone up and they've reduced the meat and cheese by at least half. Decided to give it a second chance and went back there yesterday and ordered an Italian and a french dip - same thing, both had little meat on them, and just the two sandwiches game to nearly $30. It's sad. I would prefer they charge more money and leave the amount of meat on it that brought customers in their in the first place, rather than cutting more than half the meet and charging twice the price. There is no way I get a sandwhich from them again.

If I’m being honest, it’s just an OK sandwich. Nothing great about it or the price..

I review honestly for both good and bad experiences. Unfortunately this is a bad thing.I used to eat at East Side (all of them) once a week probably. Their prices have gone up considerably and what you could almost get a 12" for you pay for a 6"... And now that's the only size option. I always did a build your own 12" that came out to $15.Now a 6" of the same is $13.65. The scaling allows for a lot more profit on a lot less product which is great for the owners, not so great for the customers. Then, the older guy with the beard is a complete jerk. Everyone used to be cool, laid back and genuinely nice. Guess the increase in prices didn't come with an increase in pay but that's purely conjecture on my part.Still giving credit for a yummy sandwich but there is more to a business than just the product. People, atmosphere and prices matter.

It’s really unfortunate that they discriminate against people who don’t have cards and only have cash!

Are you ready to have LITERALLY every other sub shop ruined for you?! East side subs makes EVERY taste bud in your mouth transcend to the next level!!!! THIS IS THE BEST SUB SHOP I HAVE EVER HAD! My bank account can verify this!! I spend at least 70 bucks every other day at this place! Online orders are accurate, service is efficient, and this place is the holy grail of sub shops!!!!! They get the flavor profile so perfect you'd think they have telepathy! They offer various subs like BBQ pulled pork, French dip, vegetarian options, meatball, you name it! They are all packed to the brim with meat and fresh veggies and wrapped to present!!!! I LOVE this place!!!! The price point is absolutely beyond reasonable!!! You will crave east side in your sleep!!!

Just had Eastside for the first time, got the Brockwich veg special and holy cow it is SO good. I don’t know who Brock is, but I love them. Very generous portions and super fresh.

Sometimes I crave their sandwiches and nothing else compares. It’s hard to find a good classic sandwich shop these days. They outdo the competition by far.

Sad. This place use to be my favorite and now it's basically disconnected its personality. And the kiosk thing is impersonal and weird. Go there in person you'll be stuck waiting for them to finish all the online orders first. Good luck if it's raining. Lame. New Seasons is cheaper!

Great sandwich at a place which has taken no contact service to something of an extreme. You have to order through a kiosk or an app. But the sandwich was extremely good.
