Incredible restaurant for any occasion but especially that special occasion. Steaks done to perfection and an amazing loaded baked potato (for two!).Parking: We did the valet which is only $10 but was well worth it since it had started to rain hard!

If you want to spend too much money on mediocre food, this is the place for you!! Very dark, very noisy spot that is SO not worth the hype or money. The table-side stuff is all show, lacks actual culinary appeal and is more kitschy than anything else. Our filet cuts were grizzly and nothing was particularly outstanding. There are dozens of places to go in Portland where you’ll have a much better all-around experience and meal.

DisappointedFirst, my calamari was overcooked. I didn't complain because my lobster bisque was cold but delicious. I ordered a medium rare steak and received it medium well. I was super upset but again did not complain. I ordered a margarita with no salt and I got salt. Fruit and cheese platter had a long piece of hair sitting on the plate. When my server dropped it off I said, "do you see what I see?" He apologized and quickly replaced it. I didn't even touch the new one. And to top off the night valet ran out of cookies. It was my promotion dinner for my new job and I was pissed. $300+ for an overcooked steak, rubber calamari, cold yet delicious soup and hair. I couldn't believe it! Service was great, but I honestly wish I would've complained cause how can you be an expensive steak house and not cook a $165 steak properly. NEVER AGAIN

What an amazing night we had! We were celebrating our 26th Wedding Anniversary and everyone of the staff went out of their way to make sure it was the best night possible for us and all wishing us a Happy 26th Anniversay. The food was excellent, the care of professionalism was the best bar none. We will be back! Our gratitude to Mark our waiter and the entire staff, please don't forget to thank them all for us, even our car attendant was kind and courteous.I can't say Thank you to each and everyone for such a delightful night and a memory we will hold in our hearts and minds for the rest of our lives. And also to the gracious lady at the next table who paid for part of our dinner. We feel truly blessed.

Had dinner last night with my wife. Service was excellent as were the sides. The only issue I had was that the Bone in Ribeye was served terribly cold. Our seats were right next to the kitchen and yet the steak was not close to being hot. I would have expected steam and a sizzling sound but that was not the case. 85.00 is a lot to pay for a steak served cold.

This place is always 100 percent spot on. The service, food and staff are top notch. If you have ever seen the show “The best thing I ever ate”, this restaurants Cesar salad is 100%. The best one I have ever eaten. If you want a perfect dining experience, I strongly suggest the rack of lamb(medium rare)and Cesar salad. Perfection.

We saw a comedian recently that said “who are the people leaving 3 star reviews?!” but this is the time.We went tonight for my 30th birthday - and maybe the moral of the story is to eat at places you have already been to for special occasions, but ultimately were pretty disappointed. All of the little thoughtful things they do for birthday stuff is pretty cool - signed card from the staff, menu with “happy 30th birthday on it”, etc.And granted, we had a reservation for 7:30pm on a Friday. We got there at 7:35 running behind, table wasn’t ready, that’s okay. We know that it was busy. Ordered, food took an hour and a half to come out. When it did, my husbands steak was medium rare instead of medium, and both were room temperature.I’m not a complain about your meal person, but when you’re paying more, you want it to at least be warm. I explained that it was not warm and they heated it up. Took another 20 minutes so husband was done eating. (That’s his name. Husband.) Then the steak was very mediocre. My impression - and I could be wrong - was that the wait staff was spread too thin. Our waiter, when he was around, was attentive, but our drinks were empty most of the time and we were left waiting a lot. Finally leaving after 3 hours. Everyone was very kind and I appreciated all of the little cool things, but I’d rather have the basics covered like good steak cooked correctly in a decently timely manner served at a warm-ish temperature than the souvenir menu.I hope this doesn’t come off as snobby. I know not everything can be a win, but it kinda of stings to sit 2 hours waiting for food that you don’t really like to get saddled with a $350 bill.

It's one of my favorite steakhouses in Portland. I can't wait to visit again. The service is top-notch, and the food is absolutely perfect. The owners treat their staff well, and it shows in the quality of food and service you receive. I highly recommend this place.
