Find this place by accident a few weeks ago. Ordered a dozen mini's for me and my partner. We ate most of them in the car before we even left. Moist and full of flavor!So I decided to order a cake for her birthday. She wanted to try the Pretty & Pink Fat Cupcake. They said it's just like the cupcake... not at all true! First off... no box for it to fit in, the cake was not at all moist, hardly any mousse filling, and way too much frosting vs cake!VERY DISAPPOINTED TO SAY THE LEAST FOR THE MONEY SPENT!

Best cupcakes in SE Portland.To the owners, thank you for such an awesome cake shop. One little request. Please make some non-vegan GF cupcakes. And only super fine oat flour if possible. I've found the only good wheat substitute in baking is oat flour. It's so soft and tender and aside from color is very similar to wheat. Rice bases always taste like mochi. Especially those GF donuts people make. Anyway, give it a try sometime. I think you could start a GF revolution. ❤️

Went in yesterday to pick up a couple cupcakes and they were delicious. The "White chocolate raspberry dipped cupcake" was so good! The frosting was amazing.
I NEVER write reviews, but THANK YOU, Fat Cupcake. Everyone was incredibly helpful on the phone and at the shop. Prices were very fair, and oh, the CAKE! Beautifully decorated and beyond delicious !!

My favorite cake shop shut down last spring. I was convinced I wouldn’t find something as good. After searching and waffling I found fat cupcake and decided to give it a try.We ordered the butler cake for my son’s birthday and it was delicious. I am so glad I have found a place I can look forward to ordering from for special events!
We had been looking for a place to get our cupcake craving fix since moving to Oregon and we loved this place! We ended up using them for our wedding and they were incredible. The staff was great at answering all of our questions and having everything ready on the day of. We got to provide our guests with so many options (including vegan). Our guests loved them so much, they were all gone, we didn't have any left over! Perfect flavors and texture. Thank you FAT cupcake for making our day extra special!

My partner and I had FAT Cupcake create our wedding cake and cupcakes back in August. They were so patient and easy to work with. We were coming in from out of town for our wedding so couldn’t do a tasting ahead of time which was nerve wracking. We had lots of questions and they answered every single one. Ultimately, we chose a small pink champagne cake with strawberry mousse filling and it was amazing. I am not a cake person and I still can’t stop thinking about how delicious it was. We also bought an assortment of cupcake flavors and our guests raved about them. We bought more than we needed and we had none left after the reception. We were so pleased with the cake/cupcakes and the customer service- FAT Cupcake was so easy to work with! Thank you so much for making our day just that much more special.
Cupcakes are amazing but I will have to say service wasn't all that great. The person that took my order wasn't a very good listener. I had asked for 3 items and only got two out of the 3. I went back in to get the third item. She seemed confused for some reason. It wasn't even that busy and she wasn't very accommodating.

They’ve saved me a couple of times when my well-intentioned plans to bake cakes for my family birthday parties turn out to be unrealistic given my schedule— they’ve been able to supply us with delicious options even at the last-minute!
My wife and I recently celebrated our 1-year anniversary. As tradition dictates, we froze a few pieces of our wedding cake topper to enjoy on the anniversary. We did use a thicker vacuum sealed bag and not a regular freezer bag. After thawing, the cake tasted nearly the same as the day we got married. We couldn’t believe it, thank you Fat Cupcake!

I’ve been going to FAT Cupcake for years. I love all of their cakes and cupcakes. The new location on Woodstock is super cute. If you don’t see something on display you can ask for it and they usually have it on the back. Greatly recommend checking them out!

Awesome space that's light and bright. Perfect for enjoying a cupcake inside on a rainy day or taking one to go for a loved one. There's plenty of cupcake options. They also sell cake pops and cookies. The chocolate chip cookies were the perfect consistency and flavor.
