The best Korean fried chicken EVER!!! My husband and I eat it at least once a week! Super light and crispy while moist on the inside. We get the spicy and the sweet, then mix them for some sweet heat! I whole heartedly recommend this business. It is so tasty whether you eat it at the cart or take it home it travels well. Service is quick also so perfect if you are ravenous.

I requested a Southern combo that would've included mashed potatoes, corn and cole slaw for $15, but the attendant said they were out of mashed and recommended the strips n fries since "it's the same batter" -- except that plus a side was $16. OK, I went with it. This was the driest, saltiest, most overcooked tiny pieces of chicken I've ever had. Fried were soggy but tasty, cole slaw reasonable but nothing made it feel homemade or stand out from regular supermarket cole slaw. Like a previous reviewer wrote, the Portland food scene appears to be all about hype and it doesn't often match the hype with quality and presentation. Yet, people keep patronizing these places because I honestly don't think they know any better, or they're just too damn polite to say anything.

Staff is rude and they close early more often than not. I have visited a number of times more than 30 minutes before closing only to be told we are closed. If there was another gluten free chicken place I would never be back.Dietary restrictions: Fried chicken is gluten-free.

The absolute worst "fried" chicken I have ever head. I asked the cashier/cook if I could have thighs, he said it's all thighs!!! WTH??? It is dried, overly breaded white meat. I feel very confident that it is FSA frozen boneless chicken strips. Dry as an Arizona desert in August. The "mashed?" Potatoes were crunchy and had some weird bitter ingredient. The halt & half wings were ALL the same... overly sugared and bland, with stale sesame seeds sprinkled on them. The only thing nice here was the fire pit. Portland has become a joke of truly good food. So sad. If you want real fried chicken, go to Real em' in Tavern, it is the only true southern style fried chicken left in this dried up city.

Ordered southern wings for my kids. 30 min wait which wasn't bad for such a busy service. Chicken had great crunch from the fry and cooked to near perfection. 0 time lag between cooking and serving so the food was steaming hot ?. Guy at register didn't seem to happy to be there which effected my 5 star rating but everyone has a day. It's all good.

The fried chicken was top tier. Fried crispy but light and plenty of salt and spice in the batter. Crinkle fries with unique seasoning. And add great service. Plus Culmination beer it's a home run.

It was ok! And that's not a bad thing, the food is dialed in, works so well with the sides, in fact perfectly. Personally, I was just expecting more after all the great reviews, but they totally lived up to great fried chicken.

The food is pretty good, i was hesitant to try the lime aoili but it was excellent, it actually sort of tasted like mustard, which i liked. The chicken sandwich i had was good. It started tasting a bit more bland near the end of the sandwich but otherwise it was really good. The man operating the cart was very friendly and had excellent customer service, very warm and welcoming.

Really wanted to like it, but was disappointed by the spicy Korean chicken bowl. $15 for four fried chicken nuggets over white rice made no sense. Flavor was lacking (both chicken and the slaw) and so was the presentation. Unfortunately, think you’d be better off buying something from Trader Joe’s and throwing it in the oven.
