Awesome place to visit. The craft cocktails are so good and the food is delicious. They were able to accommodate a vegetarian option. The staff were attentive and friendly. We really enjoyed the experience.

Great service, great location, great interior design and mood.We enjoyed the oysters(which vary in preparation) that were served beautifully chilled in ice including a flower, with an amazing granita, and a lime to squeeze, with chili powder on half of the lime. The martinis were fantastic, did not stop at one:)

Best bar in Portland. The new food menu is incredible and the service is always amazing. The tuna tostada and radicchio salad are must try items. The drinks are always made with love and Clay puts on an amazing show throwing drinks.

Came here for a friends birthday with a party of 8. We reserved early knowing it would be a large group. They reserved us a corner table that barely fits 5 because the main area was going to have a dj. The dj never showed up, yet we still had to make due with our scrunched corner. Ordered a Tuna Toastada, and while it was delicious, the portion was merely three small bites. Nice ambiance and friendly service otherwise, but at this price tag, there's much better and spacious options.

Looked forward to trying the new food menu as I've been here for cocktails several times. Let our server, who was the bartender who came over to our table, know there was a severe allergy. She thought there would be no problem but said she'd speak to kitchen and get back to us. Food was delivered and this food server had no idea about allergy. Decided to try a third food item and it was served. The crackers appeared to have the thing my husband is allergic to, asked about that and server didn't know and seemed to not care. Unbelievable lack of communication and professionalism. Food was good but not great. Cocktails are always good. No plates were cleared. Never saw the bartender who took our original order. No team mentality to make it a great experience was evident this particular evening. Very amateur group

Asher the bartender exemplifies this quote better than any man, woman, or ghoul I’ve ever met. The tall, gaunt, holistic specimen that is Asher has greatly impacted my life. Before coming into Fools and Horses, my mind was clouded, my body ached from decades of turmoil, even my spirit was broken. This changed the second I locked eyes with my effervescent Asher. His eyes a stark turquoise, the kind of eyes that remind you of sailing on a catamaran off the coast of Monaco. Then he spoke, each word demanded my attention, as if the arch angel himself was speaking to me. “What can I get you friend?” I had never experienced such kindness before. I could feel the Arctic frost that wrapped around my heart begin to thaw. I ordered my favorite drink, Cranberry vodka. From there I watched Asher work. Like watching the masters sword smith work on a single blade for months is the only thing comparable to Asher and his mixology. I waiting in anticipation, frothing at the mouth. Then it came. Presented in a chalice fit for a king was this elixir. It tasted like Hera herself was pouring the tonic of the gods in my mouth. My life instantly changed. I got my act together and went back to school. 5 years later and now I am Mr President. Thank you Asher for changing my life. You are my autumn breeze, the wind in my sails, the mastermind behind my creation.Love you- Ghoul President
Stopped in here NYE on a whim looking for a place to have a pre-dinner cocktail...wow! I'm so glad I did! The drinks were spot-on, service fantastic, ambience perfect, and the music was exactly what I needed. This is one of my new fav spots and I will be back.

Visited Fools and Horse on a rainy night post-Christmas. Bartenders were nice and knew their libations. They crafted some delectable drinks, and we enjoyed the cozy ambiance and good music. The drinks were excellent.

We had 2 wonderful cocktails (During the War and Breakfast Club) and then the bartender recommended a whiskey we'd never tried before from their extensive collection that was really special. If you want to drink a whiskey at a dark and cozy bar, this is the place!
