Stumbled into this place on our way out of town. What a fun little hidden gem. Defn recommend for the locals, its a fun spot to escape the work week. I am so glad they were open and had beer on tap!

This is the BEST COFFEE SHOP in all of Portland!AMAZING drinks, decor & ambiance, soft classy music you'll almost want to dance to on the open floor, separate cool table areas, loads of privacy -distanced sitting areas, SHUFFLE BOARD, all the flavors for coffee, I think that's a business catering area room.. business classy yet also CASUAL!

I was recently visiting Portland and while walking back to my hotel from the Saturday Market I noticed Forte and decided to stop in to grab coffee.I'll admit I didn't have high hopes as it was tucked into an office building and was branded as a coffee shop and bar. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised! The guy helping me was friendly and while they didn't have any signature drinks, he explained they are known for the coffee beans they use. I opted for a vanilla latte with almond milk as that is my "safe drink" when I'm not familiar with a spot. The latte had the perfect balance of sweetness, while still allowing the coffee to shine through. I can see why they are known for the coffee they use, it's smooth and robust!While I was just grabbing my coffee to-go, if you were looking for a place to hang out for a bit this would be a cool spot. They had plenty of games and spots to chill, which lends to the evening hours for the bar as well.I'm sure this is a pretty popular spot during the work week and at night!

This is quite a unique space. It feels like one is in an office building lobby. Maybe, because one is in an office building lobby. It is very spacious. There are windowpanes all around but they are a little high and no seats are next to them, so you are looking upwards and outwards. However, the life of the city shows its way inwards. One particularly nice feature for coffee within the Portland area is that this place is open late. The personnel are friendly. There is a billiards table and a shuffleboards table.

The bar is quite relaxing. We went on a Friday night, and someone was playing acoustic music. They had a special drink which I don't quite recommend but the wine looked very good. This place while I enjoyed it, was not in the best area.
