My food was delivery so I cannot speak to the ambiance and service. I'm. A mad pho whore who has moved across the river and away from my beloved pho house. I ordered the chicken pho not expecting much but my socks got blown off because this pho was amazing! The broth is rich but light. The chicken perfectly done and the garnishes were fresh. I would recommend!

Finally a restaurant that serves Nasi Lemak. Lived in Malaysia when I was a kid and this was my favorite dish. The sambal is not as spicy as I remembered, but it was still so good. The satay is A++. The food came out a little slow but I was enjoying my drink and company that I didn't even notice it, the only reason I knew it was slow because the servers keep apologizing for the wait. Going to be taking my 94 year old dad here and hope the food brings him back to Malaysia.Sorry no photos of the food, I was too distracted by how yummy they look that I forgot to take a photo.

Wonderful dinner, exponentially improved service. Returned here after a first, extremely disappointing experience several months ago. What a difference- service was extremely welcoming and helpful, lively, fun atmosphere, and of course really delicious food. Recently returned from an extended trip to SE Asia and the laksa at FK2 compared favorably. The cocktails were also spot on.

I have been to the first location in NE several times, and service there is exceptional. The vibes are amazing and friendly, they are so welcoming, and food arrives promptly and is delicious, with nice big portions. I believe it was the owner working there, and she just made it such a nice experience. However, trying the NW location for the first time was an awkward and slightly disappointing experience. We walked in, and barely were greeted by the server, who said sorry they were booked up (preparing an empty restaurant for parties to come) and then last minute said we could sit outside, so we happily took a table outside. We asked about bahn mis because the menu literally said "everything but bahn mi and (other items) are gf" and then were told they don't have bahn mi on the menu. Then why tell us they're not GF and have their name on the menu? So confusing! We ordered the coconut prawns and Asian salad with chicken which both ended up being DELICIOUS. We were just very disappointed by the service. The server was alone and stressed out until another server showed up, but until then I heard the first guy grumbling and swearing getting stuff from the back. I felt bad for his stress but also felt uncomfortable probably will only be going to Friendship Kitchen 1 in NE from now on, which is sad because I really wanted to try more things at FS2.

It was recommended to me and exceeded my high expectations. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The flavors were AMAZING! The satay was awesome and seemed truly authentic. The "BBH" (described as Pho's sexy and spicy cousin) with beef was filling and a celebration of flavors that worked so well together. Sitting at the bar was fun to watch the magic happen with its extensive cocktail menu. I highly recommend this great place and terrific addition to this NW corner with great eateries!

Friendship Kitchen was quite the hidden gem! We stopped by for a quick bite and stayed almost 3 hours. The food was tasty and well prepared, and the bartender was super friendly.

AMAZING! MUST VISIT! This is such a unique restaurant in Portland. They not only serve delicious Vietnamese food but also authentic Singaporean food as well. Such a unique combo. The service was above and beyond. Staffs are super accommodating and friendly. Especially, the owners, Wei- En and Trang. If you go make sure you say hi to them! Wei-en has exceptional knowledge on wine, make sure you get some wine recommendations from her! Hidden gem! Such a beautiful location and beautiful decorations!

My husband and I were on our way back from a hike and decided to stop in for an early dinner. The restaurant is SO CUTE with chandeliers and beautiful colors. We started out with some yummy cocktails and they were so good! The menu is pretty extensive, but we finally decided on the Singapore Chicken Rice and the Mama's Laksa. Both of them were delicious and hit the spot! We've never had food from Singapore before--amazing! All in all just a wonderful find."

I found this place on an Eater list, “The Hottest New Restaurants in Portland, March 2024”. Everything we ordered from the Egg rolls, Shaken Beef to the Singapore Chicken Rice were so good! I would definitely come back. I also ordered a passionfruit fizz which was refreshing. The vibe was cute, small but didn’t feel cramped. It would be a great place for a nice little dinner date.Vegetarian options: Vegan Pho, Shaken Tofu, the Dream Roll, Impossible Egg Rolls, Garden Rolls, Vegan Chicken Drumsticks

I was so excited when this location opened up, Friendship Kitchen serves some of the best food in town at fair prices and with ✨vibes✨. I love the Laksa here, such creamy and umami rich broth with the perfect slurping noodles. I love that there is a dine in space at this spot, it’s a great place to cozy up to a bowl of pho on a hot day. GREAT veggie/vegan options available, the chefs know how to make tofu SINGVegetarian options: Vegan pho, faken beef, lemongrass tofu, wonton soup, garden rolls

Friendship Kitchen exceeded all our expectations! Every dish we tried was a culinary delight, but the standout was definitely the Pho. Its rich broth and tender meat were a symphony of flavors that left us craving more. The menu offers a refreshing twist on traditional Vietnamese cuisine, with each dish boasting unique and vibrant flavors that set Friendship Kitchen apart from other restaurants in the area.
