My friend and I had been wanting to try Grand Amari for some time now and our only regret is that we didn’t get there sooner. If you’re serious about pasta, do yourself a favor and make reservations immediately. The service is top notch and the food is truly delightful. Michael took care of us and recommended perfect drink pairings for our meal. Our favorites include the focaccia, bolognese, and affogato. Oh and if you can, give yourself some time to hit Little Bitter Bar in the hotel lobby for a pre-dinner drink or two!

This was my second time dining here. We enjoyed the food and cocktails . I did end up having to send my meat dish bAck as it was undercooked Pork. The server made that easy but it took along time for the second dish to come back out. Nice place and it is Pricey.

Probably the best Italian meal we've had outside of our recent trip to Florence. Absolutely*outstanding* service from Evan and the team behind the scenes. The highlight was the ridiculously huge selection of Amaris that are available to taste. Flavours I've not found outside of coffee and wine!We had the focaccia (huge and delicious) the carpaccio (bright, rich and umami), the radicchio salad (radicchioulously tasty), the caccio (cheese bomb) and the Pomodoro (best outside of Italy). All were 5*.Cannot rate this place highly enough. If you are keen, ask Evan for a Negroni. It was life changing.

What a memorable meal! Everything was incredible, it reminded us of so many beautiful flavours we had tasted while visiting Italy last year. Evan was a wonderful host for the evening. Also, the Negroni here was one of the best we've ever had, and the white Negroni was so fun to try.

We had a great evening here. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and beautifully plated. Given some of the reviews, we were prepared for a hit-or-miss meal, but everything was pretty spot on from the olives and focaccia starters to crudo and carpaccio appetizers to the entrees -- ling cod acqua pazza was tasty, saltimbocca was nicely seasoned, and the paparadelle with rabbit was a fresh and delicious spring dish. We were delighted by the 3-page long list of Amaro selections. The wine list was great too. Loved the decor and ambiance. Can't wait to go back to try the Little Bitter Bar.Parking: Parking is on street and might be difficult to find. Street parking is paid or free depending on the day and time.

The food is excellent without being over the top; nobody is adding truffle oil to your steak or some other silliness. There are some nice original touches (eg the excellent carrot salad has a dusting of crushed pistachio) but the chef is not trying too hard and what he does just works. The waiters are knowledgeable but not show-off-y, and they bring samples of interesting things you asked about (eg some unusual amaro that I never heard off). And the steak and $1 martini is a great deal! It's not our first time and we'll come back again.

I attended a wine-pairing dinner. The food was excellent and I'm encouraged to return to order ala carte. I found the space comfortable and I had a fantastic time with the other attendees, who I met that night.

The menu looked good on line, with interesting flavors and varied options. Unfortunately, delivery of courses was uneven; the hot food was just warm; and our main pasta dish did not have much flavor at all. And was lukewarm. Our waiter asked if he could box up what we didn't eat - we said ‘no'.

The entire experience was very pleasant. A tight menu of small plates meant for sharing was fun for our table of 8. We ordered most everything with no disappointments. If I had to pick something to critique I would say I wasn't impressed with the tiramisu. Cocktails were on point and the amaro cart at the end was a great twist. Not busy on a Tuesday evening so the place was nice and quiet. The service was exceptional. Will return!

1st timer. Reviews were great. Rainy day in the PNW, restaurant is located in the Grand Hotel. Area isn't the best, parking slim to none in the rain, but valet option was great! Arrived to an empty restaurant (resy at 8pm) BUT older hotel was quaint and very inviting. Staff was almost a one man show but was able to accommodate 3 other parties while we were there. Wait time was normal for getting food, drinks and everything in between. Most of the food had great flavors and service were good. We will probably not be back but was a good experience to try a new restaurant.

Overall a good experience. The food was very good. The wait staff was a little too serious. We went there during the frigid, cold, pending snowstorm so very few people were there. They actually ended up moving us because an unexpected large party did show up. They comped our drinks and dessert for the inconvenience. I liked it but can't say it was the best experience I ever had but still glad we tried it.
