I ordered ice cream to go through a delivery app. When I received it it was still frozen. Any pints were packed full. I ordered chocolate chunk, strawberry cheesecake, and key lime and all three were really good but the strawberry cheesecake was my favorite. I tried to go there this afternoon and they were packed around 3:00. Will try again another day.Parking: This is next to a Safeway and there's a lot of parking.Kid-friendliness: When I was there there were a dozen kids various ages eating ice cream with their parents and a lot of high school students from nearby Sunset High School

The ice cream here is creamy and there was a good selection. It wasn't overly sweet and I tried the chocolate chip mint, green tea, orange dream, and black cherry? with chocolate chip. We all like it. Let's just say it tasted familiar ?. Nothing out from left field. Oh and they were generous with their portions too.

This is a simple very good ice cream shop. Cream, sugar, maybe eggs, fruit or chocolate or fruits or nuts or bits and pieces or other natural flavors .. straight forward and well done ... not full of junk but also not haute cuisine vegan ox tail bone marrow and locally sourced cherries pitted by free range Sparrows and hand churned by organic virgins ... none of that. They do a cute little progressively smaller tiered scoops so you cone looks like a delicious snowman and the price is fair at $5 for s single $6 for a double etc ... have hurricanes and shakes... recommend giving it a try ... happyvwith our banana dark cherry orange twist and salted caramel ...

(in my opinion) Graham Central Station is the best flavor ever made. I wanted to get a treat for my pup but they no longer have the frosty paws (one employee didn't even know what I was talking about and the other said they haven't had them in years) but they are still on the menu wall. Not a deal breaker, I go for the people treats.

This was a favorite ice cream shop of mine when I lived in Las Vegas. I was ecstatic to find a couple locations fairly close to home here in Oregon. I love that they have so many flavors and choices. Literally something for everyone! Seasonal options and different cones, waffle bowls, waffle bowls dipped in chocolate, hand packed pints, hand packed quarts as well as a 4 scoop sampler. They have thick hand scooped milkshakes and malts as well as hurricanes. Hurricanes are thick milkshakes with a variety of mix ins. Handel's also has ice cream sandwiches. Avoid the lines and order online if you are in a hurry.

I absolutely love Handel's! Insane amounts of ice cream for excellent prices, and some great flavors. My favorite flavors are their seasonal Peppermint Bark and year-round Mocha Coffee flavors. The ice cream itself is pretty sweet and rich. Even a "single scoop" is enough to leave two people pretty satiated. Their waffle cones are probably, their biggest achilles heel - not extremely crunchy/crisp, just ok. The interior ambiance is not very inviting. It's painted in shades of cold blue and white. Combined with the fluorescent lighting, these two elements feel like the temperature of the ice cream: cold (and uninviting). I'm not sure if this is an intentional decision (i.e. just order your ice cream and get outta here), but it's definitely not a "sit down and chit-chat at your neighborhood, cozy corner ice cream store" atmosphere. However, if you're looking for ice cream that will definitely be a bang-for-your-buck and a place with quick service, this is absolutely the place to go.

After climbing and descending over 20 miles of mountain bike trails in hood River. We absolutely demolished the deliciousness of a handels ice cream cone. It had hit the spot tens time over, 10/10 very good.
