I've bought their filled donuts 4 times, which are some of their more expensive donuts, but every time there's hardly ANY filling( about a teaspoon). I went in once, and saw there was a limit of 5 filled donuts until a upcharge is applied. I figured maybe they putting more filling in them, but I was wrong again. I lived near N Interstate & Lombard for awhile and used to walk to Lee's Laundrette once a week to do my laundry. I always went across the street to Heavenly Donuts while my clothes were in the washer. I recall that I would get 2 maple bars or chocolate bars and a coffee. They also have a large variety of donuts. It's small but pleasant and I have no complaints.

If you want “a donut” at any given time, it’s hard to beat. But if you want good donuts, you might be better off elsewhere. They’re often dry and crusty, though not always. Price is good too, and the staff are unfailingly polite and friendly.
