I visited Jakes last week after just moving to the neighborhood. The bartender, Cassie, was very rude and ignored me while I waited for over ten minutes to just order a beer. Then I heard the same bartender, Cassie, arguing with another woman, very loudly, about how they hadn't gotten all of the cocaine they had purchased. I'm sure this conversation was heard not only by the patrons inside the bar, but those outside smoking at the picnic tables. I found out shortly after that, that Cassie the bartender, was arguing with her own mother about this drug situation. I will not be returning to this bar nor will I encourage my friends and family to go there either. I will not subject them to rude service, a bar that apparently has open policies regarding drug use and conversations about drug use, and potentially violent behavior. This is definitely not a friendly neighborhood bar if you are drug free.

NASTY bartender!! Think her name is LeaApparently bartender closed my tab out because of shift change. She could have at least asked if I needed anything first. I didn't even know the bill was in front of me. I was busy responding to an email about a death in the family! She pressures me to sign it NOW. I said you want me to sign it now? Fine, crossed out the tip, signed it, had last swallow of beer and left. On my way out I heard her mumble something about why I'm mad.Guess she didn't like not getting a tip because she refuses to serve me now. It's not the only place around to play pinball! Guess they don't want any of my $800 monthly bar expendituresNasty!!!!

I have never felt so unwelcome at a restaurant before. The fat manager was very discriminating and refused to seat us at a table after a quick call before arriving we were told tables were open. After sitting at the bar for a few moments I noticed he seated another couple at an open table. I wish zero stars was an option as I hope no one of color even considers this racist service. ALSO the young ladies at the front were very unwelcoming as we left not even a "have a good night" was made. Very disappointed and very disrespected at this location. At least they were open on Christmas Day yet not very jolly service.

This place would be a lot cooler if their regulars weren’t tweakers and coke heads (the staff as well from what we can tell) my boyfriend who was clean from that stuff for a year has been given drugs there multiple times now since moving to the area and going there. They're more concerned about someone showing up angry because their partner was given drugs than the drug use itself that is happening in the bathrooms and out on the benches. I also see I’m not the first one to mention the drug use there in a review. See previous review. Needless to say we won’t go back. Clean out the garbage people and quit condoning drug use and dealing. You guys will end up in some big trouble eventually.

This bar reminds me of cheers. It is friendly, everyone feels like family, and its somewhere where friends meet. The bartenders take care of you and give the best service. Food comes fast and laughs are hard. This bar does a great job of making everyone feel as an equal no matter social standing. All men and women are sitting at a circle table. I am greatful this business is apart of my neighborhood.

Even as a regular. And I hope they understand. .Smoke breaks are too long, bar is clean, still a bunch of coke heads in the bathroom tho.. food is Air fryer and deli only. Not impressive. Regulars rule, that's nice. I like a lot of them.I 86ed myself today though..Girls.. if your reading this.. bro. I work at a strip club. You don't think I respect women? You have no idea the respect I have. I will never come back though. Not because of the girls, but because of the bartender not even taking a MOMENT to analyze. She just agreed. I refuse. The bill gets increased pretty frequently or the tip gets boosted, which is fraud. So i want to raise awareness and hope it stops
