Kells has an intoxicating homey feel to it from the moment you enter the restaurant. The staff punctuates that with their warm smiles and inviting attitude as if you are sharing the dining experience amongst friends. And you will genuinely believe it by the meal's end, planning a repeat visit before departing. As for the food and drink, your palate will thank you. The Irish musician during the evening added the right balance of lively tunes without being overpowering, allowing for ease of conversation.

Great atmosphere. Cool looking pub. Server guy, kinda young, had the personality of a rock. Shepards pie was just ok. Other dishes served at the table just ok. Overall...very average.

Great service, very welcoming and awesome staff!! The music was good too. My bangers and mash were wonderful! My son loved the Shepard pie.Dietary restrictions: I can not have mustard and the staff insured there was not any mustard with my bangers and mash.

We went early to the cigar room. Had a blast, best Guiness in town and reasonably priced cigars.

The best Shepherds pie you’ll ever have! A great atmosphere, with wonderful food and drinks. The owner is there every time we visit and always stops by our table to say hello.

LOUSY!! I drove from Washington state to this place for the first time. I got there when IT DID open; ordered one beer and pretzels. One-hour-and-15 minutes later - I did NOT GET MY REFLL OF WATER, NOR PRETZELS!!! Servier, Cassie, told me she is has been there for 3 days only and is new. I just paid for the beer and left!

Yummy, unique food in the heart of downtown! Went here with a girlfriend “just for a drink and apps” but ended up eating our faces off ? and indulging in a full dinner + several cocktails (delicious Old Fashioned served by cute, FUN bartenders)! Plus, the delightful hostess, Melissa, offered us a quick tour of the historic building which we were mesmerized by. Kell’s is certainly an establishment that deserves to be visited and celebrated often. We’ll be back soon!!!

Amazing! I've been coming to Kells for at least 20 years. I love the Ballycastle sausage roll and the Irish nachos ?‍?Kid-friendliness: We brought a few kids, and the staff was very friendly

Been here several times before but never past 10 pm. Limited late-night selections but my dad and I both found something to try. I had the boneless wings, dad had the sausage roll. Both were very good and remarkably filing for their size. I asked Eric whether he suggested the Bunnahabhain or The Classic Laddie, he recommended the Laddie and I got a pour, my dad had two rum/Pepsi's. On the way out, dad asked for a pour of Louis XIII and Remy XO which he then split between him, myself, and Eric.I have never been a person who equates price to quality but this experience has changed my mind to some degree. Now I can say that some premium spirits are worth the prices they command and Louis XIII is one of them. This tasting was definitely worth the wait from when I first saw a bottle in Kells almost 20 years ago. This was a great evening with my dad and it made for a very memorable birthday. Love you pop.
