It’s a great place for Italian pizza. The ambiance is lively and the service is efficient.

Usually love Ken's. But when I got my sandwich home today it had multiple hairs in it. Multiple. I threw it away. Terribly disappointed. Food at restaurants is WAY too expensive nowadays for this to happen.

I love Ken’s for a quick coffee or lunch. Their list of sandwiches looks incredible and I’m looking forward to trying more of the menu. The staff is very helpful and bubbly. I also love that they have dairy-alternative milk for no additional cost! I’d definitely recommend heating up your pastries if possible, it really kicks it up a notch.

Got some things to takeaway. Coffee & salted caramel profiteroles were FANTASTIC!!! Carrot cake was awesome. The morning bun was incredible! I think the least impressive thing was the chocolate and salted caramel croissant…..maybe if I had heated it up a bit it would have been even better!!Highly recommend! We also made French toast out of the Brioche bread, which was next level!!The walnut loaf was also really amazing!!! ?

This place has been in my list for a while and I finally have a chance to try. I got ham and thyme croissant, chocolate croissant, chocolate cookie and blood orange tart. They were so delicious. The crust was crisp and full of flavors. Definitely come back for the

Ordered and paid for a bacon quiche. Was given the vegetable quiche and it was barely warmed. Cold on the inside. They were so busy I just ate the cold wrong flavor quiche and didn't bother telling them. Not a great experienceWheelchair accessibility: Definitely not suitable for wheelchairs.

This is a busy neighborhood bakery. I picked up some cookies and pastries for the Valentines holiday. The bread looked good as well. I also had a nice piece of veggie quiche. My coffee was great too. I'll be back.Parking: On the street in a popular neighborhood, so a little patience is required.

I love Ken's and am a regular customer. However, the last few bread purchases have been overbaked to the point of tasting burned. When I slice a loaf the entire crust crumbles off. Very disappointing.

The espresso is some of the best in Portland overall. The only problem is I ordered a 12 ounce Americano and the cup was only half full. I mentioned it and the barista didn't just fix it...she instead tried to make me wrong by explaining to me what an Americano is. I was like, I know what I ordered but there's a reason you have 8 oz, 12 oz or 16oz options...because the beverage is supposed to be that many ounces, regardless of what's in it? Was too much, she wanted to be right so I walked away. Found out what coffee beans they use and will buy them now instead. I really don't have the energy to argue over things when it was obvious the cup was just a little over half full. Not a big deal but the way it was handled was condescending. Could have just said, ok and fixed it. lol But I guess they are more concerned with being right then having decent service. Pic of the actual drink for reference.

This place is an absolute gem! Sitting up against 21st with its back to a quiet neighborhood, this bakery is one of my favorite places to walk to for a relatively cheap but very tasty coffee and Ham & Cheese Croissant. You really can't go wrong with anything you see when you walk through the door. Its a relatively tighter space, so seating can be tough to come by during the busier hours so be prepared to take it to go, but it is so worth it!

Ken is an artisan, but not the kind that makes wall art or paints models. Ken's art involves taking simple ingredients and making baked goods better than anyone else. So Ken isn't really an artisan. Ken is a genius.

What a delight. We arrived around 10am on a rainy Sunday and had no trouble finding a table. By 11am there was a line out the door and less table options. We ordered a cappuccino, an Oregon pastry( blackberry), and an egg salad sandwich.Everything was absolutely delicious!
