We have been coming here for years. The quality of the food is always good and the service friendly. They still make us things for us that are no longer on the menu. They have some very good lunch options. Prices have increased (haven't they everywhere) but the quality has remained high.

The flavors of the food at Koji are unmatched. Spicy tuna roll is done to perfection and I highly recommend the yakitori chicken. I miss all the other Koji locations. By far the best Japanese food in Portland.

the food and service here is always wonderful! I recommend their tempura (best in town, hands down), katsu curry, and oyako don. Their fish is also very fresh. I recommend trying their chirashi. I like Koji’s because they have a lot of authentic Japanese dishes that you can’t find at other Japanese restaurants around town. Their staff is always very friendly, and welcoming as well!

We ordered omakase 上sushi and they were good, especially aji nigiri. The chef was kind and brought special appetizers for welcoming us. The atmosphere was authentic and all servers were smiling and helpful. If you’d like to feel real Japanese serve or miss Japan, please visit them. They all super nice and feel like home. I’ll definitely go back there again!

Sweet little sushi bar with kind service. Prices reflect the fresh ingredients. I had the delux sushi meal and was blown away by the freshness of the bay shrimp in the California roll. The sunomono was one of the best I've had with soy marinated bay shrimp. A nice place for a quick bite before your movie.

❤️Spent 2/14/2024 (Valentine's Day) dinner at Koji Osakaya with my dearest heart - my 12 year old son. Everything was of course lovely! At the end of our amazing meal of yasai gyoza, tsukimono, miso soup, nigiri sushi & ramen, our talented and generous ?Sushi Chef suggested we take home one of the beautiful yellow rose flower bouquets from the counter where we were seated. A must visit if you haven't already been; a place for lovers of sushi and/or Japanese culture?Parking: Spots open right out front with 2 hour free parking.Kid-friendliness: My son felt right at home - adorable children's starter chopsticks available up-front.

Went there for date night and it was pretty amazing. Food was awesome and even tho they were a little shorthanded, they still managed to take care of us with any major delays. Great Food, Great Service, Great Time! We'll be back!
My partner and I visited here for dinner. He had the Chicken Katsu Curry and I had the Chef's Choice Regular Assorted Sushi. For dessert, we shared a fried ice cream.The food and service was amazing. We're both looking forward to visiting again to try some of the other dishes.

Can't believe the average is not higher. Been a fan of Koji since the early 2000's. Always the best quality sushi, good service, and an enjoyable experience. Lived elsewhere for few years. And have been to some other sushi places when on conferences or trips, bit none compare.First time here in years, and OMG. Did I miss me some Koji sushi!Treat yourself - get some!

This restaurant has superior service and amazing food. We came in for a take out order, and the staff gave us water and miso soup as we waited. Our food was amazing and such great memories came with all the dishes from a previous trip to Japan. Will come again when back in the Portland
