Kicking myself for not trying this place sooner, and am already excited to go back. Food was phenomenal and the space is so cute and cozy. Owner is beyond delightful. Such a treat to have some legit, less “Americanized” Filipino food. Everything was delicious, vinegar and lemon dipping sauces were so good. Leaving with a very happy belly!

Amazing and AUTHENTIC Filipino food. After a year searching, we finally found a place that is true to the culture and source of Filipino cuisine. Kubo highlights varying regional dishes, and puts so much care and thought into each offering. The owner was so gracious and enthusiastic talking to us regarding the background of each dish. We will certainly be back and plan to be regulars!

The Adobe was delightful. We are always on the hunt for a perfectly spiced dish and this was it!!! My husband and I were in the Philippines 10 years ago and I feel like this is the first time I had an adobo that actually matched the taste we've been looking for. Thank you ! My taste buds are grateful.

The owner was so kind, patient and explained every dish without hesitation. He went in to detail about every dish even informing us of what wasn't available and why. I didn't take pictures of everyone's dishes cause everyone was starving. The inside searing area was small, 2 tables 4 stools each. But there was also outdoor seating. We went on a cold and rainy day so outside was not an option for us. Everyone in our group loved what they ordered. We were about 8 of us.

Had a great experience and wanted to try EVERYTHING. The food was super great and the owner was super sweet as well! We had quite a few things and they were all delicious. Sadly I forgot to take photos and only have it on video but I highly recommend. My bf loved the blood soup and lechón and I loved the adobo and their coconut milk spicy pork dish! We finished it with some yummy Sapin sapin!

Recommend entirely. Rex took the time to explain and dissect every one of the dishes Kubo serves. I'm getting the Pork Sisig at medium heat and am scared of how spicy it is going to be. Delicious? I have no doubt in my mind it will be. Enjoy a Calamansi juice drink while you're here, too. Will return.

Great tasting food at a reasonable price. My wife loves the food from Kubo. We live nearby, so I call to place my order for pick up and it is ready when I arrive. The staff is friendly and the food is consistently good.

Being a recent transplant, I've been looking for a really good Filipino eatery. I can tell you, this is the place to go! The food is traditional, made to order, and super sarap (delicious)! As an extra, the owner - Kuya Rex - is awesome and personable! You can tell that he and his family truly love their business and their patrons! Thank you guys for bringing a piece of the Philippines to the PNW!

My wife is Filipino from the Island of Cebu and has cravings for more authentic food. I am always in search of something that can fill that! We had 3 dishes here and they were GOOD! I’ve been to Cebu many times (Not all over the Philippines) and have had different foods there. So the taste from the Philippines definitely takes place here, they have a good take on Traditional Philippine Food. We like a Fusion of Filipino food, but my wife says it never really hits the spot. To add: The owner is the one handling the front and serving and helping his wife and sometimes daughter that helps them out, he is very open and kind man, with a humble viewpoint of keeping to a traditional way of making foods and warm the heart and souls of there customers. To add there isn’t a lot of seating inside but there is outside with heaters. Prices are a bit high but really everything is nowadays with the fact that these ARE NOT frozen but made from scratch. The experience was great! We hope that “Kubo” NOT ‘magna kubo’ which something COMPLETELY different keeps receiving a good customer base so we can enjoy many more years
