I was very happy to be able to secure reservations for yesterday. It is so sad they are closing at the end of July. They will be greatly missed in our neighborhood. I have dined there many times since their opening. Mussels are one of my favorite treats and their preparation is the best I have had. So sad!

We arrived early hoping to be either seated earlier or to wait at the bar. We were told that there was no availability. We went down the street to the Lucky Horseshoe Lounge for iced tea and cocktails. When we returned and seated at our table the restaurant was still mostly empty. I still wonder why we weren't offered the choice to sit at the bar or at one of the outside tables. Overall the service was inconsistent. We received another table's check when preparing to settle the bill. The menu was limited to mostly appetizers and a couple of entrees. We ordered the Moules Marinière which were delicious. We also shared the Oysters (mediocre sauce), Scallop Cru (just ok), and the Beef Carpaccio (which was overpowered by the vinegar from the Giardiniera which was probably from a jar). Tea and coffee were not on the menu, so I was limited to water since I wasn't drinking alcohol. I would definitely order the Moules Marinière again, but I would opt for a to-go order if possible.
We loved our late dinner of moules and no frites! We savored the fennel and the blueberry financiere to-go was delish. Sad it will be closing, but so excited for dinner res tomorrow night!

Very sexy ambiance. Food was excellent, we couldn't decide which was our favorite dish. Server needed a little help making sure our order was complete and brought out in a timely manner. Great spot for a date- just keep a close eye that you get everything you ordered

The food was fantastic! It was a really cool restaurant with a lovely vibe. However, the waiter we had was less than pleasant to us, he got offended when we requested ketchup for our fries pointing out we were given aioli (which was delicious but i didn't want creamy dipping sauce for the pomme frites). As we were finishing up with our meal he came back and pointed out they were closing soon and asked if we were basically done or if we wanted anything else because they were closing soon... making a huge point that they were closing soon which was incredibly obnoxious considering they seating two girls two tables over from us 20 min before close. We were there for my wife's birthday so of course we wanted to get dessert, and he was less than pleased when we ordered dessert. The hostess was lovely and the bar staff was incredible... honestly the waiter really put a sour taste in our mouth about returning though. If you drop $135 on a meal you don't expect to be shuffled out the door like that.

They were perfectly shucked and tasted like they had just been plucked from the ocean.For our main courses, my partner ordered the bone marrow, which was the best we've ever tasted. It was so rich and flavorful that we wished we had ordered more. I, on the other hand, decided to try the burger, and it was the best decision I made that night. The meat was cooked perfectly and topped with delicious, melted cheese.The service was also excellent, and the staff was knowledgeable about the menu and the wine list. They helped us choose a bottle of wine that perfectly complemented our meal.Overall, we had an amazing experience and we can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious dishes. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience, we highly recommend this restaurant.

Service took forever. My wine pour was skimpy at best. We had to remind the server of a dish we had ordered but not received. Cocktails were decent. Overall, sitting outside was best part of the experience. Would not rush back.

I had friends visiting from out of town who needed to catch a flight back home within a few hours.. we were sat promptly and treated very well. The food was amazing - from the chicken liver mousse to the burger to the butter lettuce and especially the mussels. It made for an incredibly special last night in Portland for them. I plan to come back regularly.. ?
We enjoyed the location and our drinks. For the appetizer we got the butter lettuce salad which was very good. Entrees however we're not good and we were disappointed. I ordered the NY steak and it was inedible. I'm thinking it was just low quality beef but overall the texture was awful. My husband enjoyed his fish but the greens that came with it were woody and tough, completely inedible. We won't be going back unfortunately.
