My review is for Steve! He is, hands down, the best server I've experienced in a long time at a Mcmenamins, and I've had many visits to many locations. He was attentive, kind, smiles and accommodating even when there was an error in an order. Caused me to rethink my patronage at future Mcmenamins. This guy needs to train all of Mcmenamins servers. Promote this dude!

This place has a cool buzz, some tasty waves and is fiiiiiine.Vegetarian options: Salads with dressing on the side. Garden burger patty, vegan burger patty, fries, tots, hummus and more.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options.Kid-friendliness: Kids can roll around the floor, all good. Everyone’s there to have a good time. Adult swim seems to happen after 8.

Really enjoyed eating at this restaurant on 3/11/24. Our server was fantastic and had great recommendations. Would highly recommend hanging out here. You can play Pool, Shuffleboard, our just hang out. We didn't feel rushed to leave. Great eclectic art.

whwn we first walked in we tried to play pool , and immediately got kicked out. music is terrible and there is obcene paintings on the wall it says bring your family but I wouldn't wish that on anyone

If I could write zero stars I would. After tonight I have reached my threshold with this bar. I can understand bad service, but after this evening I feel that this bar has crossed a line. My fiance and I came in to play pool. We waited our turn, and when we finally got on the table we wound up being harassed by a person off the street for an hour. That person preceded to look for patron's unattended purses and goods. The bartender stood by and did nothing. When I approached the bartender and asked how they could possibly let that happen, rather than reassure me that the problem was being taken care of, she told be she was "not a bouncer". Then her colleague informed me I was acting ridiculous and asked me to leave. The bartender/staff's responsibility is to help protect the bar and their patrons, especially when you are serving liquor to guests. I never once saw management come in to resolve the issue, or any police officers get called. I can only assume that never happened. When a guest is angry because they do not feel safe, they should be met with reassurance the problem is being handled - not met with a defensive attitude.

So it wasn’t as busy as it could have been but the server seemed more than capable of handling anything that came through the door.The Aztec salad, cider flights and full drink selection was excellent. The fish and chips and the burger were good but not outstanding. The dessert - an Apple-pecan cake was the best of the best! - chalked full of nuts, wow <3.Loved the quaint atmosphere and great music over the sound system, awesome selection of blues. would definitely recommend this location on W. 23 rd in NW Portland, Oregon.
