This restaurant was lovely. The food was fresh, and the flavors were reminiscent of TexMex. I had a chicken enchilada with cheese and a lovely red sauce on top. Absolutely delicious. The salsa reminded me of salsa I used to get growing up in Texas.

It was fine. I just didn't think the taste waA there. We tried the fajita which didn't come hot, the bacon wrapped shrimp was good. We also tried the steak bites were decent but cold. Clams were good. Guacamole was lacking salt. It was a 3 star experience. I'll give them another chance. We went at 2pm for lunch on a Sunday so maybe that's why things were cold.

My partner and I spent our Valentine's Day dinner here. It was a nice experience and I'd return for another special occasion. The food was extremely fresh and well prepared. Mi Cava exceeded all of my expectations. My partner, who is very particular about any place we dine, also had a wonderful experience. The service alone was excellent. The menu kicked everything up a notch on the flavor scale. The drinks were well balanced and strong with a few surprising twists. Well done!

Went there a few times for just drinks and finally decided to try their happy hour. The taquitios were some of the best I've ever had, everything about them tasted fresh and made to order.

Went for V-Day with the wife. It was not too busy. Music over speakers was a little loud, but otherwise fine. Wife enjoyed the music. Salsa was what I would consider to be spicy or hot, definitely not mild, but fine as we both enjoy hot salsa. Chip bowls are small child like cereal bowls, hold maybe 20 chips. I understand that in this economy places are cutting back, but this seems to add extra service time to waiters as they have to fill bowls more often. Just makes service that much slower and more difficult for them. But they are nice and thin. I picked up the nacho's and wife picked up the burrito, both with asada steak. The steak is cut into strips and was seasoned fine for both of us, but very chewy. Tasted like cartilage a couple of times, we have definitely had better. Cheese was almost nonexistent on the nacho's, which seemed odd. It was our first time visiting and I was looking for a replacement to the Original Taco House that closed down in Portland. Sadly this is not it. We both enjoyed it but it wasn't very memorable. Our drinks were on the house because if the wait time for food, but we expected the wait being Valentines Day. The two plates were right at $40 for both, so price is great, but we are both kinda meh on if we would go back.

We are very glad we tried it out as I've been eying the place. The food and service were both excellent. Price was a bit higher than traditional Mexican restaurants, but the menu and food was quite good. We'll definitely go back.

I’m going to add a huge caveat to this was based on my one and only time here to celebrate a friend’s birthday. It started with some confusion because we had an 11 am reservation on Sunday. We arrived on time and the doors were locked and we didn’t see anyone to inquire. We waited around and after 10-15 minutes decided to go elsewhere. Long story short they did open but not at 11. The restaurant itself was very classy with a fairly well stocked bar. The food was tasty. The service was mixed, not the best but not the worst.I ordered the chile relleno which was very tasty and filling.Would I go here again. Probably, first impressions can often be wrong.

A wide open restaurant nestled in a strip mall. It came with warm welcome and friendly smiles. The chips were like cardboard but the salsa was tasty. The meal was good and the portions large. The environment left me wanting. Very bright lights and noisy booth. Like a cafeteria with good margaritas.Parking: Plenty of parking in front of the restaurant. The lot had lots of availability.

Great, authentic Mexican food. Everything was so delicious and the portions were a bit too big for one person, so you won't leave hungry! Margaritas were top notch as well. My friend and I enjoyed our early dinner very much. It was not busy, early dinner, about 4-5 is where it's at.

We enjoyed everything. We sat at bar for happy hour. Steak bites are super flavorful, pastor tacos sooo good! Drinks are strong and on point. The margarita was delicious. We had pastor tacos, enchiladas and taquitos. I wouldn’t get the taquitos again but everything else was delicious. We will be back
