My friend highly recommended this sushi place to me. I'm glad that I did try here!! The quality far surpasses what we paid for. The server was really welcoming and the atmosphere felt relaxed. I can confidently say it's one of the best neighborhood sushi restaurants in Portland.Also, the happy hour offers GREAT value. We indulged in hamachi rolls, monkey brain, tempura, gyoza, sake, and beer, all for just $43! Hamachi role was my favorite for sure.I will return for their freshly delivered uni on some weekend.

This is one of the best hidden sushi gems in Portland. One of the rare family-friendly spots in town, so be prepared for a more kid-friendly environment (albeit all the kids seem well behaved). Even then, they still manage to keep an awesome happy hour.The staff is friendly, food is high quality but unpretentious, and the neighborhood is walkable and welcoming. This is my daughter’s favorite spot, so I’m always happy to come back.

I ordered 2 rolls from Miyamoto’s while at Roscoe’s, the bar next door. You do need to order something from Roscoe’s to be able to order from Miyamoto’s as well.The 2 rolls were very good! I did walk by the restaurant and it was very cool inside and out. There is heated outdoor seating. I can’t wait to come back here next time!

This is my favorite go to sushi spot in all of Portland. I’ve been going here for about six years consistently. I love Andreas, he is an amazing chef, and a very kind person. I love the pickled veggies, jalapeño ninjas, and the chefs Nigiri I always take my friends here and all of them say they’ll be returningalso not super expensive for the quality, I usually spend about $30 and feel very satisfied.

In my opinion the Miyamoto roll is THE perfect roll- the combination of flavors couldn't be better! Everyone I've taken there seems to agree. Best sushi in town!
We popped in for a quick bite and drink during happy hour and boy were we glad we did. We sat at the counter and got great service and a view of the happenings behind it. The beer is cheap ($3 for a bottle of Sapporo) and the food very reasonable. We ordered the 'Monkey Brain' stuffed avocado, hamachi roll and karaage. We would not order the avocado dish again (it was a bit blah to be honest but not bad) but everything else was fabulous. Anytime you can have eats and drinks for two with good service for less than 2 Jacksons you know you have done well. We will be going back for more.

Love this place sometimes I order the "Wassup-B!" Because every time it's delivered I think .. did the waiter think we are friends? Throwing slang around? Nah it's just a funny playful menu! Great staff and friendly ! Some of the best sushi I've had in Portland! The location has great vibe too nice outdoor seating as well good ambiance
