My friend and I had dinner reservations at 5:45pm on Tuesday night before a show at Keller Auditorium at 7:30pm. We waited an hour for our food to arrive and were in danger of missing the curtain for our show. We paid for our bills quickly and left. After leaving the show, I checked the bill and realized we were charged for three appetizers totaling $75 that we did not order. I do not live in Portland but drove back today (Wednesday) to rectify the overcharge. I spoke with the General Manager (Kelly) about the situation and she committed to filing an "investigation" with corporate to refund the amount. Essentially it is the waiter's word against mine, so there is no guarantee that it will be resolved correctly. Other than a polite apology, she offered nothing to entice me to return as a customer. The long wait plus the handling of the overcharge displayed a lack of customer service and I will not be returning.

This is our date night go to. We live an hour and a half away and it is worth the drive every time. Amazing service, delicious food and presentation and a calm atmosphere there. Going again tonight. Worth the money and drive. I also love that the tips make it to the chef as well and not just the waiters, the chef does an amazing job as well. We always make sure to tip no less than $80 each visit for the chef and waiter

Came in here to have a great steak and left disappointed steak was overcooked, wagyu meatballs were cold and the wait was soooo long. The waiter asked us if we were going to lion king show tonight and told him no and he brought us our drinks and forgot about us for like 30 min. Then when he got our order he helped all the other tables except us. We told him we didn’t have a show but we needed to get our food asap because my husband and his co workers needed to sleep soon since they had to wake up for work at 1:30 am. We waited 85 min for our food and it was cold or overcooked when we received our appetizer is the same time we received our food so table was crowded at this point we all just didn’t care as we just wanted to eat and sleep. But was such a disappointment. Quality was not there everyone was upset and waited didn’t seem to care. We were one of the last people out of that restaurant

What a sad excuse for a Morton'sThe service was horrible, no bread was dropped off whilst watching other tables who arrived after us be served, no French onion soup, so my wife ordered a salad. What steakhouse runs out of French onion soup at 8pm. my wife's salad shows up, 20 minutes later my starter still hasn't shown up, so I made them take the salad away.At that point we got bread. The starters arrived and my jumbo shrimp salad was actually a cold lobster tail. I just couldn't be bothered to tell them about it because I was over it.The only good part of my birthday dinner was the sommeliers wine choice.

They supposedly have a dress code. It would be nice if they enforced it. The staff is always nice. The food is good.

Have had 2 fabulous meals in the past 6 months at Mortons. The steak is always amazing and surprisingly on our last visit the tuna poke appetizer was delicious! Birthdays are done with personalized flair. Service is spectacular as well.

I went on a Tuesday without a reservation, but I didn't have to wait and had a delicious steak, beer, and gin and tonic.

Both of our steaks came burnt on the outside and raw on the inside (we eat medium rare, this was very raw and uncooked on the inside) , we had to send both back and wait for them to recook them. it was a large hassle and honestly ruined my birthday dinner. The manager came over and apologized, and took $14 off of our bill, but that didn't really fix the experience, we spent $250 so that $14 offer was honestly more disrespectful than not offering anything, especially as he knew it was my birthday. Even with the steaks returned after being cooked correctly they didn't taste very good, I️ think having them cooked twice really ruined the flavor, as it felt like they were $25 steaks steak that I️ had overplayed $64 each for, not at all what I️ expected. Our waiter Nolan was amazing which did make up for the food and save the night, we still left smiling and had an amazing time as he was a very nice guy, and was one of the most helpful waiters I've ever had!

We were seated in the overflow area which is usually private dining. There were plenty of tables open in the main dining room. Our waiter was poor at best. Only curved on us twice throughout the whole meal. Never offered additional beverages until we had to leave. I've dined at Morton's both here in Portland and other locations around the country. This last visit soured me on returning ever again.

Morton's has been my go to for what used to be a great steak. I am a steak snob as i can make a great steak but when I want somebody to make me a steak I go to Morton's. My wife and I ordered the valentines special which consisted of a 28oz bone in NY with sides and two lobster tails. We asked for the steak to be cooked medium rare. Now I don't normally order NY steaks but when you go to Morton's any steak you order should be the best. Far from it, the steak was done medium, full of gristle and it was tough. out of the 28oz i probably had 4oz my wife had 3oz The other couple that came with us order the Wagyu cooked blue and the dry aged Rib Eye cooked medium rare. The Rib Eye was medium, the Wagyu came out medium rare. This was a huge disappointment for me and all that was with me. This occasion is something that you invest in and hope that you are in good hands and the value is there and it was not. I feel that the quality has gone down quite a bit.Why does it have to be so dark in there that you cannot see the menu. I do value ambiance but we do need to read the menu. It would be nice to have a top light on the menu that shines down so that you can what you are ordering. The service was good, The wedge salad was amazing as well as the lobster.

I went here to celebrate Valentine’s Day with my girlfriend and if you are thinking about going it is definitely worth it. Our server Kevin was amazing and had made the experience even better! After looking at other reviews I was a little doubtful about the place but it was amazing. Definitely recommend!

Disappointing. Anniversary dinner. Seated at a tiny table at the entrance. No privacy. Felt like I was in a semi dimly lit cafeteria greeting strangers. WAY Overdressed. They don’t enforce dress code. Ripped jeans and tshirts allowed. I felt silly in a cocktail dress. Food was okay. Server up sold everything. A bit uncomfortable. Save your money. Better steak houses with much better atmosphere

Just had dinner here to celebrate Valentine’s Day and it was absolutely horrible. The food was very bland and it took over 1.5hrs to receive our burnt flavorless steak. Definitely going to ElGouchos next time!
