Fantastic, friendly service!!More/better pastries (from a different supplier?) to pick from. Every time I go in the case is either empty or only has non-appealing looking bagels. Otherwise, love this place!

I guess I've become a regular here because they know me by name and will start making my usual order unless I tell them to change it up. I usually come here with my friend, who is an even more regular regular and if I come in without him I get asked if they should start making his regular order, too. The baristas are friendly and nice and make a great matcha latte. A lot of the customers are people who live in the two apartments there, or work across the street, so you see a lot of the same people (and dogs!) and it just feels very communal and a good atmosphere to hang out in and chat or get work done (including crafts, like knitting). Even if their drinks were meh I'd still come for the community and atmosphere, luckily their coffee and tea are great so it's positives all around!Vegetarian options: Selection of pastries/muffins/bagels, though they sell out fairly early. There are also light breakfasty options like avocado toast, and instant oatmeal cups. Also, coffee!Parking: Parking is mostly street parking, there is a garage for tenants of the building - but you probably aren't driving to the coffeeshop in the building you live in

A sweet little shop with very kind staff. Marley remembers my name, greets me with the biggest smile and is always hustling to get drinks out quickly.

In a city teeming with great coffee shops, this one wasn't my favorite. The benches are too high for the tables so it's incredibly uncomfortable to work at. The coffee was a little burned and over roasted. And many, many flies buzzed toward the ceiling. Probably won't be back.

After drinking a coffee and working on my laptop for a bit, I wanted to buy a muffin, so I asked the barista if the one I wanted had any nuts because I have an allergy. She didn't know off the top of her head, so she looked at the label and said "look, it says it's vegan" to which I replied, "oh but I asked if it had nuts, do you have the ingredients?". She glared at me and very exasperatedly said (almost shouted) "I don't know, we don't make them here dude", waving her arms around like she was angry with me. I felt incredibly uncomfortable and immediately left. I've never experienced someone so frustrated over a simple question, especially related to a safety concern. I've also never experienced a restaurant that doesn't know if a major allergen is in the food that they serve. The music was also incredibly loud for a cafe, although that was not my first concern after the way I was treated.I went on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 from about 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free and vegan options but were incredibly unhelpful when it came to asking about other major allergens.

They will not be getting my business anymore. I used to enjoy coming early to my daughter’s acting class across the street at The Oregon Children’s Theater they advertise they close at 3pm on Saturdays. I came in about 2:35/40 and they already had a closed sign and the person working there (Sat 3/2/24) was rushing to close up and was rude as I am sure she wanted to get out of there at 3 as that’s what she told other customers who were coming in after me. They shouldn’t advertise they close at 3 if they are shutting things down at 2:30. I wouldn’t have even bothered spending my money there and just proceed to the other coffee shops around this area. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE . Didn’t even care to say thank you, etc. Some people who work in customer service, should consider a different career that doesn’t interact with the public. Not a good look for your business. It’s not a customer’s fault that you want to leave right at your closing hour ?

I needed a place to stop and eat while taking a phone call; felt so lucky to find this place. The person serving me was incredibly accommodating both to my indecisive hesitancy around what to order as well as me being slightly distracted trying to prepare for call. I can’t speak about the food variety because I didn’t buy much, but got a cup of tomato soup for $4 and free bread on the side. Bread was toasted in a way I loved. I also noticed free drinks are possible—someone can pay something like a latte forward, and someone else can request that.Really love the atmosphere. Enjoyed hearing UMI over the speakers at one point while waiting for my order inside. Felt COVID-safe in the way there were also three tables outside, spaced out in a way that felt ~6 feet apart, partially covered—I could be dry outside and enjoying food while rain sprinkled down.

While I'm not a huge fan of the coffee (I believe they use a light roast? Lighter than I prefer, at least. Lil too sour for my taste) I still give this spot a solid rating. The atmosphere is open yet comfy, and the baristas are super nice every time I go in. Plus you can spend your time waiting for your order by looking at all the pics of customers' cute dogs! (did I mention they're very dog friendly?)

I was honestly very disappointed with this place. The coffee shop itself was beautiful and that’s about it. We arrived an hour before closing and the baristas already cleaned the coffee machine and put everything away. They were so rude with taking our order and answering questions about their specials. The coffee was also not good. I don’t know if they did it on purpose or if that’s just how they make it. I would not come back here. It’s a shame though because I liked the location and the aesthetic of the coffee shop.Parking: There are parking garages in the area. Lots of street parking. Depends what time of day you go if theirs spots or not.

Small menu of coffee and chai drinks, but all made well. They also have some pastries, toast and even a burrito. Inside has a clean mid-century vibe which I love. Light and airy, some gold accents, and plants. It's a few blocks in from Sandy Blvd and it is definitely a locals coffee shop. I like that it's independently owned and not part of a large chain. Parking is on the street.

This cafe is kind of cute from the outside. The ambience is just okay inside. They don't label their vegan pastries and they don't always stock a lot of them, but they do usually have at least one option. I believe the pastries are wholesale from Shoofly (a local vegan bakery). Updated from previous review on 2023-08-16

I got to try their Cold Brew with coconut, definitely an interesting combination to try if you like coffee. I heard that their matcha is also good, will come back to try their matcha drink.
