Honest espresso drinker here. The double espresso was not good. It was scorched/burnt and had a bad overall flavor profile. I will give it another shot (literally), and if it was just a bad pull, I will update this review accordingly. My hunch is this is a beloved local haunt that needs some tuning.Update: Tried again, just as bad. Portland has *wonderful* coffee everywhere. This is a coffee disaster. The espresso is **burnt** I mean lordy just try it. There are a lot of places here that pull fairly "green" espresso shots, which isn't my thing, but at least it's not black. This espress tastes like it was pulled through grandpa's ash tray. Grandpapaccino. Going to 1 star despite the cereal bar. Read the 1 star reviews (excluding bad service), the coffee has been "burnt" for a DECADE.

This is a cozy spot with a very genuine neighborhood feel. The baristas know everyone’s orders by heart, even remembering mine after just one visit! I haven’t had their food or pastries, but it seems like they offer simple bites like reheated sandwiches. The aesthetic is a bit outdated and not to everybody’s taste but the warmth of the service is clearly the selling point here.

I stopped by to support a local community member and buy some beautiful dried flowers, was surprised and very pleased to see they support lots of local artists! The space was beautifully curated and filled with friendly locals. The gentleman working behind the counter greeted nearly every customer by name and knew exactly what drink they wanted! My drink was excellent, and if I lived closer, this would be my regular spot. 5 stars isn't enough.

Love this little local coffeeshop all the staff are so sweet and silly and totally set the welcoming vibe. Delicious coffee & breakfast sandwiches, they have a cereal bar?? and they always play great music! Lol. Plenty of space to study or do crafts, outlets and everything, love it <33

I love the big cushy arm chairs. Friendly environment with a very community oriented vibe. Pretty chill, pretty awesome.Kid-friendliness: Activity area, kinda cool. Sign says "Unattended children will be given an espresso and a free puppy!" Pretty fantastic.
Got a chance to check out this place today, and it was cool! I was lucky enough to find parking right outside, although it appears there is plenty of parking in the area. The staff was very friendly, and my coffee came out quickly. I didn't order anything fancy, just a black coffee, but it was very good. One of the big perks was that there was plenty of space and different types of seating, from comfortable chairs, to larger tables. Definitely a great place to meet up!

This is my daughter's favorite coffee place, I love coming here too. The coffee is great. I love the comfy sitting places, and the tables aren't so bad at all. The baristas are great friendly and helpful also it is close to the shops and restaurants on woodstock.
