Great happy hour spot for groups. Great vegan options. Yummy pizza!! Low key vibes whenever I'm in for work meetings.

My sister and I have tried 15 different pizza places in Portland and this is at the top of both of our lists, above many other amazing spots. It's incredible. Consume and thank me later.

The pizza week pizza was amazing! Also love the roasted cauliflower. Service was top notch! Can’t recommend this place enough!

This review is about the differences in deep dish vs thin crust. I've ordered the "all star" both ways. You cannot taste the sauce on the thin crust. The overall flavor is FAR better with the deep dish. The tradeoff is that the thin crust has much more meat, and therefore much more grease. For anyone that has been to Chicago, the price for this pizza is outrageous

The deep dish pizza and salads are to die for. The restaurant was clearly a little short-handed but our waitress did a good job of keeping us happy. We love the decor, especially when it is warm enough to open the sliding doors. Hopefully that will be soon.

All the food was amazing! We sat outside on the patio because it was a nice day. The service was great! Well definitely going back that's for sure!

I went with my family during Happy Hour and the food was delicious. For starters we ordered some ricotta cheese crostinis that were delicious and a "small" salad which was more than enough for 3 people. The pizza was a delight but the best thing was to accompany it with a delicious sangria.I highly recommend this place.

Another incredible pizza spot for when you get tired of NY style! The star boasts a cozy laid back vibe that is fit for everyone setting the stage for a delightful dining experience. The servers are prompt and attentive always checking in throughout the meal. The deep dish pizza is what they’re known for as they use high quality ingredients to create flavorful pizza. They have options to choose from or you can make your own! Each pizza is presented wonderfully for your Instagram needs. Their appetizers are numerous and we tried their cheese dippers which were great.I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to try deep dish pizza and is looking for a great night out. They take reservations which is a huge plus! They were able to accommodate a large party of 10 with no issues.Dietary restrictions: They are able to accommodate for vegetarians and use clean knives to cut the pizzas.

Although I'm not a big pizza fan, I love The Star's pizza! I've been here several times over the years and I keep wanting to come back because of how good they are. They specialize in deep dish pizza which is hard to come by around here. We ordered a deep dish of the Little Star with chicken added. The pizza was packed with cheese as well as the toppings (chicken, spinach, mushrooms, and garlic) and the tomato sauce on top. The crust is good, it's hearty because it's made with cornmeal. One thing to note is that we came on a Friday night where they have a DJ playing, so the music was a bit loud for us since we had to shout to hold a conversation.

We really enjoyed lunch here. I had the Detroit style meatball. It was very good! My friend had the bruschetta and a Caesar. Both were excellent. The service was very good we will definitely be back!

Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly host. First glance at menu, Was satisfied with amount of variety and options for food. I’m not much of a cocktail drinker myself, so found the beer menu lacking. Food estimated rival to table approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Found that both our pizza pies were not as warm as expected. From the deep dish to the thin crust, I prefer the deep dish. Overall taste I would give a three out of five and definitely have tasted Better for the price. approximately $90 with tip was a total for two large pies. In short, do not believe the hype. I would be returning if someone else pays for my meal.
