Good sized portions and for lean food it is well seasoned / tasty.

I had my first order last week and am very happy. I like that you are not required to have automatic orders weekly. Food was fresh, not frozen and arrived right on time. I will use this to skip cooking one meal a day. that's a time saver. The pictures of the meals were accurate but I wish the website had description of what each meal included. I will order from them again.

Fresh, local, excellent service. I’m home from the military and love eating these. 10/10 would recommend.

I tried placing an order on the website but the website wasn't working. I tried sending a message through their "contact" page but the website said "Message can't be sent". I call them and no one answered. I tried to leave a message and the messaging service hung up on me.

So excited that PDX Meal Prep was recommended to me. I've only ordered twice, but the meals have all been fresh, filling, and tasty considering how healthy they are! Customer service has also been super friendly and quick to respond with answers to my questions. I am very much looking forward to not have to think about what meals I need to cook for the week anymore!

I tried this for a few months because I wanted to try a local meal prep service. I have tried big names like Factor. I was happy initially but finally cancelled this after about 3 months because the negatives piled up much too high.Positives:1. Many options for meals which rotate periodically2. You can specify the amount of protein you’d like per meal3. Great focus on sustainability with recyclable containers and delivery bagsNegatives:1. They kept changing my subscription meals without notifying me.2. ZERO customer support. I have tried calling, texting, emailing- absolutely never got a response.3. Messed up my delivery dates twice.4. The mobile site is completely unworkable- at least on iPhone.

I signed up for PDX Meal Prep 7 days ago, they charged my card $190, they missed the delivery dates they set, never delivered any food and did not respond to emails. If this is how poorly they treat new customers, I cannot imagine how poorly they treat existing customers.

Ordered for the first time this week and I’m very impressed. I’ve only had FitFoods in the past but this is much better. I love how there is variety and the menu changes so you’re not eating the same exact thing every week, also LOVE the containers they use. The food does not get watery or soggy when heating it up which I very much appreciate. I’ll definitely continue to order from them.

I've used PDXmeal prep over the years. I used them when I was too busy to prepare healthy meals, and once again when I was down for surgery and needed nourishment while I healed. I know I'll use them again in the future. I like how you can choose from so many meals, lot of varieties are offered weekly. Thanks for getting me through my surgery!

Local, fresh food that’s at a great price! Delicious and quality prepared meals that are also super nutrition focused. Other prepared meal places are just not healthy or are super salty. This is just focused on health, quality, flavor and customizable portion sizes! With great customer service. Highly recommend!

I used PDX Meal Prep for a few weeks and found the food to be okay, nothing great, but nothing bad either. I stopped using the service because I didn't feel it was a good value: the price combined with the lack of meals that I liked dissuaded me from continuing. At that point I would have rated it average or three stars. But there's another value that I look for in a company like this: trust and a positive attitude toward the environment. When I decided to discontinue, I still had one of the specially designed food bags that PDX Meal Prep uses to deliver the food in. It's mostly plastic but they said they pick up the used one with their next delivery. Since I wasn't going to get a "next" delivery, I called and talked to one of the principals, I believe, to ask if I could return the bag since I didn't want to add it to the garbage. The man who answered said he'd be happy to pick up the bag as my location was on his way home and he was leaving shortly. That turned out to be untrue; so much for trust. He never picked up the bag. I called the next day and left a message saying I had put the bag on the porch and could he come a different day. He never returned the call; so much for concern about what goes in the garbage.A few days ago, I was driving near what I thought was the location of the business (see the map on their Yelp page) and went there to simply give them the bag. The location has changed so the Yelp page is incorrect. Then I left them one more message, trying to get them to finally take back this bag. They never returned the message. So now, when I finish trying this, I'm throwing their bag in the garbage. So much for their concern about the environment.I would never use this company again. They're unresponsive and they clearly don't give a rats ass what you do with their plastic bags. I tried; they failed.

I have tried a couple of meal preps, freshly was one and it was just TV dinners. Pdx meal prep is legit. Very tasty, natural and made fresh. Big fan, and it’s nice to have my Sunday’s back again

Delicious healthy food and very convenient delivery. Very good price for amount of food and the quality ingredients. Makes eating healthy affordable and possible when busy. Great option during Covid-19 to avoid leaving house

I've tried a handful of meal prep services, including fresh and flash frozen. This week I ordered PDX Meal Prep and I am so beyond impressed. The food is fresh and tastes amazing. There's been nothing I don't like so far and I've been eating the meals three times a day! I've actually been suspicious of some of the labels because those that shows such low calories don't seem to compute in my brain since the food is generous and flavorful. The only thing really missing is full nutrient labels. While the macronutrients are on the containers (thank you!), the micronutrients are not which leaves some unknowns if you're a bodybuilder/tracker like me, but for now I can get by with just macros. One other thing is that in one of the meals - Deb's Kale Salad, the label of ingredients on the container didn't include the goat cheese component that came with the salad, so I was unsure whether or not it was included in the macro and calorie count on the container.#OCD :)

I recommend you definitely TRY THIS meal service! I would prefer to support a family owned business like this anyways, and so far I am very impressed by the food quality and taste. Their food is VERY FRESH! It is healthy and delicious which is not easy to acheive. Also when I reached out to them with questions about my order, the employee who I spoke with was very friendly. They really do value their customers. Delivery of the food was during the time frame that I was expecting. I will be ordering again, next time adding more meals! Thank you PDX Meal Prep.
