Service is pretty good for a pho restaurant. The pho is more often a hit than a miss, those the pho broth can be off some days. I'm from Houston which has a large Vietnamese community so I can be quite critical of pho but I'd say this place is the best pho out here in Portland. Surprisingly, their Bun Rieu is good but I'd pass on their Bun Bo Hue (it was quite sweet for some reason). One of my go-to pho spots. I was feeling under the weather today with yet another cold and my first thought was pho. This place is food focused for sure. No amazing ambiance or anything, but it gets 5 stars because I don't care about the atmosphere. I care about delicious pho from people that care about the food and quality ingredients ?I got a large #12, ate till I was satisfied and my to go container is FULL... And I spilt some broth ?. 2 full meals for $17? Heck yes!

Don’t believe the half rate reviews — This is one of Oregon’s best places to get pho. Quick, tons of fresh toppings. Take a chance and try some of their other soups and dishes… You won’t be disappointed. Also, if you order a dish with bread, you’re likely to get a loaf *just baked* at Lanvin, directly next-door!
