Had brunch with some friends. Everything was great! The Biscuits had amazing taste and texture, dense but not tough with a lightly crunchy crust. Crumbly but didn’t fall apart. The gravy was creamy, savory, and well seasoned. The Blueberry Cormeal pancake was amazing with a texture that was somewhere between fluffy and dense. The Hash Ups were crispy on the outside and not over done on the inside. The Fried Green Tomatoes were good but more breading than I usually like, a thicker cut tomato would’ve made them better. BUT the Lemon Meringue Pop Tart was the stuff dreams are made of! We were all full at the end of the meal, but my friends decided to get one and I am so happy they did! I will definitely be coming back here while those pop tarts are still in season.

First time visit. You wait in line to order, and your entire party needs to be there to sit down. It is a first come, first served restaurant. Once you order you find your seat. You can sit inside or outside in the covered heated patio. That is where we sat and it was very comfortable. Everyone enjoyed their meal. You must bus your table when you leave. We were just visiting the area, but it seemed the locals had it down. If you like fresh baked biscuits this will be right up your alley!!

During my visit here, I didn't know the chair had a nail sticking out until the end. The chair made 2 big holes in my pants. I talked to one employee, which just outright ignored me. Then, I talked to another employee, which told me to put the chair back. I then expressed more that the chair made holes in my pants and that the chair shouldn't be out there, and she told me to put it aside. It seems as if they were going to put the chair with a nail sticking out, back for people to use. This was one of the worst experiences I've had at a restaurant.

So yum! I’m so satisfied by their biscuit burger! French fry is also great so that I can’t stop eating until it’s gone.

Pine state was an awesome brunch! The manager Candi was hustling all over the place and still managed to make everyone feel welcome and seen. She had a great energy which carried over into the meal. She really went above and beyond to offer excellent

The original Pine State (on Pine Street, no longer operating) was recommended to me by a friend long ago, and I was embaressed to see how this Alberta’s Pine State Buscuits was functioning today. Times have changed, hell the world has changed, but it is not the same experience I remember having in the quite recent past or even back in high school. Rude and condescending tones coming from the staff near closing. I am a professionally trained singer and energy healer, but something was so far off (in the acoustic resonancies yesterday) I didn’t want to even place an order. Really, that is not something you should ever be displaying while on the job, especially not towards loyal and tipping customers.

Tasty food, good service, but I'll tell you what I DO NOT want to see when I'm eating: an anatomical cross section of a chicken, including the formation of the egg, on a poster. Seriously there's kitch and there's cheeky but seriously wtaf. And the bee larvae thing. Folks. You have like two wall spaces for art and you choose cringe?

I’ve been here several times and today 2/24/24 around 810-815am the lady at the register was extremely rude to not only my family, but the couple in front of us.I understand there’s a first come first serve rule regarding seating. There were 3 people in front that were headed to seats, a couple (next to order), then us (family of 4). My kiddos were squirming and practically next to order so I headed to sit down. As I came back towards the door to grab a high chair she stops the order for the couple in front and continues to say you can’t sit yet it’s first come first serve…. If it weren’t for my kiddos being hungry I would have left. The couple in front of us were super nice and said don’t worry we do not need a table go ahead. The fact that she was persistent I don’t sit down until we ordered so we ordered and we sat.As we were packing up to leave there was a person waiting for her friend and she was able to sit down without ordering and the lady was completely fine with it.Food was great as usual 5/5, but the lady forgot one of our items in our order and gave it to us cold. I think this was on purpose. This right here is why people don’t tip/tip well and leave negative reviews. The first interaction I had was so negative first thing in the morning. That person is definitely back of the house kind of personality and shouldn’t be the first interaction with customers.

To start, this establishment is the most unclean place I've ever visited. There's a noticeable trail of grease on the floor, and the tables are covered in dirt. It's essential to inspect the place before ordering to avoid disappointment with the overpriced, $30 meals. The young staff seems indifferent to cleanliness.Moving on to the food, it consistently arrives cold, including the biscuits and gravy. It's frustrating to endure a subpar dining experience with cold food on dirty tables. The lack of table maintenance, absent water glasses, and missing napkins contribute to the overall terrible service.Despite hearing positive talk about this place, my experience was far from satisfactory. Save yourself the trouble, money, and potential health risks by choosing a well-maintained establishment nearby. Even the filth could have been overlooked if the food had been served at a reasonable temperature, but that seems beyond the capability of Pine State Biscuit.
