Not bad. I might be able to criticize a thing or two about the food, but nothing that would keep me from coming back.I do wish breakfast places in Portland would make more clear options on the menu that don’t automatically come with meat. Albeit a chain, Black Bear Diner's usually have pretty good eats. Service is pretty good, portions are beyond ample, if you leave there still hungry there's something wrong with you. Usually have breakfast, regardless of the time of day, and it usually doesn't disappoint. Staff is friendly and usually take pretty good care of you. When I'm in need of some home cooking/comfort food, the Bear brings this Cub to the Den.
