BEST AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD IN PORTLAND!! This family is from Mexico and you can taste it! Every meal feels like I'm at my abuelas house enjoying a delicious meal! Please try the Flan!!! It's the best kept secret in Portland! The entire crew is amazing! Skip Taco Bell and come support a local spot!

Huge burritos, very tasty

yeah - absolutley outstanding. While their prices aren't the cheapest around it's probably the best quality burrito bowl you'll ever come across in portland--2nd only to JR mexican food up the street! These guys also arguably give you two sides of the best salsa i've probably ever tasted--i think they use roasted hatch chilis in-house. The ingredients are fresh, generous portions of meat, comes out pretty fast in sturdy containers and outdoor seating on a nicer day. This was a slam dunk and now one of my regular go-to places easily thanks romeros!

We ordered delivery from here last night, and it was a bit of a mixed bag!First I will say that I got the carne asada burrito and it was literally one of THE best burritos I've ever had in my life. I'm originally from S. California and have very high standards when it comes to Mexican food. This burrito was TOP NOTCH. 10/10I had a bite of the carne asada quesadilla and it was good, too! 9/10But there are reasons I gave it 4 stars instead of 5... The tacos were just okay, at best. And for the price? Totally not worth it. They should be at least $1.25 less each, for what you get and how it tastes. My husband ordered 4 and was underwhelmed and still hungry afterwards. I'm not expecting .99 tacos, I know everything is more expensive these days! But for nearly $4 a pop, we would not order these again. Also, we were supposed to get a free Jaritos with our order, and it wasn't included. Not a huge deal, but if you are running a promotion like that, you should really honor it.And lastly, this is a highly personal-taste thing, but their medium salsa was REALLY hot to me. I like spicy... but mild to medium is usually all I can take. If you like spicy, you will probably enjoy their salsas! All in all, I would go again, but I would probably only get the burrito!

Delicious empenadas! I was impressed. They were great the first time and they were fantastic when I heated them up. There were three people who came behind me and ordered in the middle of the afternoon. They know a great place. Outside tables which were very nice. I am coming back.

This place gave me E. Coli. I have been sick for almost 2 weeks because of their food. Don't eat here.

Fresh and delicious. I get a new salsa each week at their stand in the Vancouver, WA farmer’s market. Best in the PNW! Highly recommended.

The food is very tasteful and the prices are good. Their guacamole is soooo amazing, and the chips are crunchy. My partner and I moved to Milwaukie but we come up to get this place for dinner once in awhile because it's worth it. It's family owned which we like and the family and employees are nice. Come! You won't be disappointed.

Excellent homemade Mexican food created and run by the Romero's family. I had the enchiladas and they were wonderful. Big portions and lots of flavor. Mango habanero sauce is my favorite but the red salsa is my forever Stand By hands down.

What the heck??? Why is this so good?? I do NOT write reviews (I'm very lazy). And I definitely don't review burritos. I mean, it's a burrito.. most of them are basically the same. I stopped here on my way to work because my local burrito place was closed for repairs and this will be my new spot.I ordered a veggie burrito. It came with chips and red and green salsas and radishes and lime on the side. It was huge and the ingredients were noticeably fresh! Like I bit into it and stopped to look inside because it was exceptionally delicious. Just so fresh! I don't know what else to say. Best veggie burrito I've ever had and the radishes were a nice surprise too! The salsas were also noticeably good, the red is very spicy. One note: the burrito had cilantro in it which I love! But if you don't, be sure to request without.

I'm gonna call this review A Tale of Two Tacos. Ordered the chicken enchiladas and asada tacos last night and the food was so good that I considered calling in and placing another of the exact same before my wife staged an intervention. The tacos were greasy and the meat tender, and the enchiladas were moist and tasty. In my greed, I ordered here tonight. Went big and doubled the amount of tacos. Rather dismayed that the Asada was burnt and bland and the tortillas dry. Such that I only ate half the tacos I got and chucked the rest. Enchiladas were dry as well. So, I'm thinking tonight was an off night, but at this rate my next order here will be only if my company is paying.
