The strak was tender and succulent. I had it medium rare. The wait staff was less than stellar and we waited for at least 30 minutes for a waiter after being seated. Not a good look. There may have been a mistake or a table assignment error. Once the waitress came she was great. The food was excellent as usual.

When did your hosts begin stopping folks from going into the bar to spend $$ while carrying a nearly empty Starbucks cold brew? I’ve done this prior to the symphony on countless occasions without ever getting shaken down while heading inside. She was quite rude and pompous for a youngster. One can only assume she may be infected by the likes of Trump and his pathetic lot. Not a positive outcome for you as my wine tasting group has spent thousands with you over the years, and often due to my persuasive efforts. Perhaps the rest if them are correct; the likes Morton’s and Ringside are looking better and better!! Bye…

Simply phenomenal. On a whim, I decided to try Ruth's Chris solo the other night. This steakhouse has been on my radar for years, just never gave it a shot. I'm sure glad I did. Walked in, sat at the bar, immediately fell in love with the dimly lit and elegant atmosphere (perfect romantic setting). The bartender was attentive, made an excellent Manhattan, and never left me waiting for anything. I ordered the bone-in filet and it was hands down the best filet I've ever eaten! And that's a big deal. The grilled shrimp, grilled asparagus, and crimini mushrooms were all perfect. Worth every penny. This is my new spot in Portland for an incredible steak dinner. Highly recommended!

My wife and I set up a dinner date, my wife chose this place. Then our server Jacom. (JAC) EXPLAINED everything for us. Chose meals for us. Served us and checked on us. The food was great. The manager goes around to check on us. The cleanliness at this place is top notch. Service top notch, environmentally friendly and all you want for a meal. Will be back again and again.
