One of the best classy Mediterranean restaurants in Portland! Creative menu, flavorful food & cocktails. You’d never go wrong with any food you order. Love the Affogato here as well.! Must try. Service is amazing & everyone is really kind here. Will definitely go back!

every time we’re here we end up getting very nearly one of everything. one of our party has a severe gluten allergy and the kitchen was very respectful and mindful of that.

The service was great. The staff were very attentive. I enjoyed it and will visit again when I'm back home. The only thing was the portion, which was a bit small. I had the lambs, and those babies were a bit tiny, smaller than expected, but that can't be helped in this economy.

We love this place, the lamb is to die for, the food has such love, attention and character that it is like a happy gathering for your taste buds! It makes your heart sing. Only downside is that it can be a bit loud for conversation.

Truly wonderful restaurant experience. As a larger group, we ordered about 12 dishes, and I truly enjoyed every single one. Favorites from our table were Turkish baked hummus and pita, winter mushrooms, heirloom carrots and falafel. Service was wonderful and all staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I’ve visited a few times before and definitely plan to return again!Dietary restrictions: The restaurant provided a menu with checkmarks for the several dishes that were vegan. I think it was nearly a dozen options.

We were so lucky to get seated! (Plan ahead if you want dinner here as they book up.) We wanted to grab a bite before a show but they were pretty much booked solid so we were seated at the bar. Very nice servers. I'm giving the food 3.5 because, while my lamb dish was ok, the chicken shawarma my husband ordered was just plain weird. It was covered with a mountain of slaw tossed in tahini that was so bitter as to be pretty much inedible and there wasn't much chicken. The tahini soaked into the pita which made that also unappealing to eat. I love Mediterranean food but this isn't really that.. it's modernized. The person next to me ordered a filet that looked AMAZING.. I would try that the next time.

I don't know why this restaurant is no longer on all the "cool" lists of Portland spots. It's really solid, tasty, mediterranean food. The pita is a star.Things I've eaten here: charred cabbage, various hummus, steak, french fries, salmon, lamb carnitas, couscous salad, other salads, pita.Of all of those things, I'd say that the only thing that didn't cause me to go "ooooh, that's delicious" were the fries - but they were still really good fries. I just didn't love either of the dipping sauces. For me, the beet ketchup is too sweet without any balance and the yogurt sauce needed some lemon or salt or something. That's the only negative thing that I have to say. Everything else that I ate here was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. I would highly, highly recommend the lamb carnitas, the cabbage, the salmon and the steak. I realize that's practically everything that I ate...but it's the truth.I've been here several times and would go back any time someone wants to go with me. On top of the food being awesome, the wine list is really good and the service is really amazing too. You need to make a reservation and some of the high tables may be difficult for older people or people with mobility issues. Just something to note.Parking: The area is a bit empty - not much else around, so you should be able to find plenty of parking within a short walk (if not right out front).
