The dude with pepper colored hair & sharpie eyebrows is by far incredibly rude! He was quick to grab my card out of my hand & when I kindly asked if they had a buzzer he rudely said “no, be ready in 6-8 minutes!” It’s been 15 minutes now and I’m just freezing!” They suck & I’ll never be back. I’ll also tell ALL my family & friends to NOT come here! Just shut down already…

My favourite shawarma spot on 82nd. Mostly recommend.
I’ve had many Gyros and Donairs (Canadian) throughout my life and this one was inedible. Stale pita topped with withered shredded lettuce, covered in hot unseasoned dry beef, with a heap of flavourless tzatziki, add some strangely sliced (but not all the way) chunks of unripe tomato… don’t forget the hunks of raw bitter onion on the top to finish it off. My partners wasn’t any better, just swap the dry flavourless beef with dry flavourless falafel. I usually give places multiple try’s before giving a 1 star but this was a spectacularly awful + expensive inedible meal. Love spending $30 for hot garbage!

Great food and good portions I don’t understand why ppl are being negative thanks as
Been at this cart yesterday and apparently there was no internet, so the guy at the cart couldn't use the Credit card machine and instead of asking for cash (which I had), he plainly and bluntly denied to sell any food. When I enquired why he wouldn't take cash and ask for it instead, he was like I don't have time for it, I am busy (when there was no other customer at the cart and I was the only one). That was one of the rudest answers and attitude I have seen at a food cart so far. This guy had a very rude attitude from the beginning, not sure if he is like that with all the customers or certain ethnicities. Its not just about Food, Manners and Hospitality matters a lot in a Restaurant business, definitely wouldn't recommend this Food cart or there food to anyone after this experience.

Worst service, horrible food! Ate food here before and it wasn't good but decided to give a second chance since it was the only shawarma cart open in the area.We walked to the food cart and weren't sure if it's open since there was no sign, no hours listed and no people by it. Waited for over 10 mins and nobody came up. I could hear someone inside the cart so I said hello maybe they aren't aware that we are waiting so my husband said hello again. A guy wearing headphones comes and yells at us " what's up can you see I'm busy doing something!" We just said sorry for bothering and left... because if you feel bothered by someone just coming up to your cart than why do you even run the food cart business ?

My favorite option at cartlandia. Everything is good but I always gravitate towards the lamb. Delicious hummus, tazatiki and bread as well.

Meeting up with a friend at Cartlandia on a rainy afternoon led me to Shawarma Express for a falafel gyro. What I got was a huge pita literally stuffed full of falafel, lettuce, and cucumbers in yummy tzatziki sauce. Always a favorite of mine, falafel gyros at Shawarma Express in Cartlandia are a trusty go-to, always consistently good. The staff were helpful, the food was tasty and portion was beyond big - but I ate it all! Bonus was catching up with a friend I haven't seen in awhile; even though it was chilly and wet out, the outside covered area with tables and chairs was dry. I'll be back for sure!
