I'm from Hawaii, born, raised, and worked there after growing up. This beats any spot I've eaten at for ALL the items here (and I've tried every type of plate lunch)! Definitely gotta try this if you're from the PDX area or passing through. You won't regret it at all.

Smokin Fire Fish offers delicious and exciting food. When eating-in or take-out it works best to order online. In keeping with food cart dining, there is a rustic covered outdoor eating area for the hardy which is best enjoyed in the late spring. The setting is on the banks of the Willamette River under the Fremont bridge. Uniquely industrial.

I always make a point to swing by here when I am in Portland. It is by far some of the best poke I've ever had. The fish is always fresh and the flavor is perfect. The service is always friendly as well. I wouldn't recommend any other poke place over this place.

Great food! Hours can be all over the place, sometimes you have to order online cause dudes pay system doesn’t work. But Chris is cool and the food is great!Awesome spot for some authentic Hawaiian food ?

I ate here after noticing it when going by on the Maxx. The portions are huge, food is great and we loved the dishes we tried: 2 types of poke Hawaiian and Seoul, and the plate lunch with kahlua pork and chicken tonkatsu. I've been eating poke for the past 5 months on Maui, and these folks know what they are doing! The Seoul poke was memorable and what I can't stop thinking about since going there. You can't go wrong with these folks, and a friendly owner too!

Ridiculously delicious! This is perhaps the best poke I have ever had! So good. I have nothing critical to say which is rare for me. If you like poke you will not be disappointed.

Some of the best poke Portland has to offer. Very generous servings—I’m talking huge chunks o fish. And oyster sauce poke! The Korean Fried Chicken is also phenomenal. Definitely one of my new favorite restaurants in town.

I don’t leave reviews.. as for poke reviews I’d only have negative or lack luster ones to leave until NOW! I have been to practically every “local/Hawaii inspired” poke place from Eugene to Seattle to Vancouver Canada and this poke is legit THE TRUTH, the real deal! Missing food from back home is always a struggle but finally I have found poke that is just as good if not better than back home! The price is great, the portions are big! COME GET THIS POKE, ITS THE BEST YOULL FIND! The service was “like back home, feel good” which was nice also! Thank you so much! I’ll be here multiple times a month for the poke and aloha! A great pick me up when missing home.**no picture because I didn’t even have any left when I realized I should have taken pics first, I’ll get some next time!**

Delicious poke. I don't think you can go wrong with any choice tbh! Their spam musubi is also chef's kiss. Worth coming out to support a BIPOC business & have a yummy lunch! Also the uncle that runs it gives the best service. Super laid back & friendly ?

a place that boasts both quality and quantity! There’s lots of hawaiian food options, all delicious with large servings at a great price. seating is limited since it’s just an empty lot, but is clean and has been nicely decorated with umbrellas for shading and fun colorful touches. You really cant go wrong with anything here!

By FAR the best Hawaiian in town. Servings are commensurate with price. I’m eating here once a week from here on out. Even the rice is perfect. Don’t sleep on the KFC; that batter is magic.
