Solid little neighborhood cafe. Coffee is good, I especially liked the coconut toddy/cold brew. We also had their pistachio muffin and little carrot cake which were baked in house, and those were outstanding. A good Saturday morning pick me up.

Please excuse the photo of the half eaten muffin but what you're seeing is a carrot cake muffin that was cut in half and filled with an EXTRA layer of icing! ? We also had the pistachio muffin (so light and creamy), the salted caramel latte, and the coconut cold brew (super good combination). Chill neighborhood vibe, good prices, and the foods are made in house!

Kids play area is disgusting. We came here specifically for that and it was terrible. The back hallway where the toys are smelled like pee and the bathroom was so gross. Toy area hasn't been cleaned in a long time. The whole coffee shop smelled a little off. There was a homeless man camping out on the couch inside. Coffee was decent but expensive for what it was.

My absolute favorite coffee shop in SE PDX for beans, lattes, smoothies, foodies and THE BEST coffee milkshake I've ever had! I'm a regular that loves their awesome rotation of savory homemade soups, breakfast specials and their permanent menu is bomb too! ?

Excellent coffee shop, with a Portland vibe. Get a muffin with your coffee -
I have been coming here for a while because I love the feel of the place, the fun flavor choices, and bakery items! It is full of small town charm. However today I highly suspect (no way to be 100% sure) that the barista mixed up my soy milk for real milk. I can usually tell but the flavors here are so strong. I am lactose intolerant and was extremely sick all day (this was all I consumed today). Everyone makes mistakes and it’s risky to go to a coffee shop with lactose intolerance, however I unfortunately won’t be coming here again after this experience!

Old school 1990s style portland coffee shop it's always hot and humid and crowded. The Barista is hip and pierced and better looking than you. A throw back on all the good ways.

Yummy food and coffee. Staff and atmosphere friendly. Lox bagel and mocha chocolate lavender latte was so good
My favorite coffee shop in town. this is the place I miss the most after moving. Coffee is fantastic, their breakfast sandwiches and baked goods never disappoint.

These guys carry one of my favorite chocolatiers that I've ever had. They are called bliss chocolates. He's such an artist and what he does and the chocolate literally melts in your mouth. I send them to my family back in Michigan for all the holidays directly from Bliss himself. He is out of Washington, and one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. I'm so glad that space monkey carries these so I can give them to local friends without shipping. It also led me to some very great coffee and service by a young gentleman that was working. Thanks for all you do and supporting local chocolatier.

Pretty terrible customer service, which is the main thing keeping this place from being better. you feel like an inconvenience to the employees who do not greet, do not thank you, ignore other customers as they leave the establishment even though they say thank you multiple times. Espresso shots improperly extracted. Asked for oat in my americano, did not get it. Ambiance is fine for an oldies coffeehouse that feels stuck in time. Furniture is crusty and obsolete. If it weren't for convenience I wouldn't have come at all. Saving grace is nice mellow music and charming scenic art on the walls and quiet coffeehouse.

I have been going to space monkey for about 25 years off and on. Today was the first day that I was treated rudely by the barista. She seemed to be angry and was very impatient and upset when I couldn't speak my order fast enough. She spoke so fast I could hardly understand her so it took me a moment to answer. I don't think I'll be coming back for a while except to get honey and maybe a muffin once in a while. I hope that someone else is working at that time.
