This is my happy place. I'm already planning what morsels I will pick up for my 50th birthday (in July) It's all so delicious and I always get the sweetest person helping me at the counter (and miss their name ) that it makes me want to hang around. Great customer service!

Rainy morning, last day of visiting Portland. Wanted to start on a good note and warm myself with a cup of tea and a delicious pastry in an adorable setting of French patisserie. Only the tea met the expectations - because it was a bag of Smith Teamaker which is impossible to mess up. Pastry was dry and at least a day old and didn't taste as a kouign amann should. Service seems to be annoyed by the customers - they all are probably working on some magic pastries for some monarchs and do not want to be disturbed by us mere humans. Wanted to enjoy the place but alas..

Food is average not great. My issue is that at checkout Tips are expected at 25, 20 or 15%. The staff only take the order and you are expected to pick up the order when your name is called and then bus your own plates. I wonder why Management expects a tip is deserved?

Don’t order online on their webpage for pickup. They charged extra for each item and didn’t care. Asked why an extra dollar each for items…”We have been having problems”.Also miserable staff. Food is good though.

Went in at 5:15 with closing at 6:00. Couldn't get one of the sandwiches that was supposed to be warmed because they needed to close the ovens down at 5:10 so they could leave on time. Then, why are you open to 6:00 if you can't get something warm that is supposed to be served warm. I asked a couple of employees who were more worried about getting out of there. I sent an email to management and got no response. The poor reviews I see are mostly because of quality and customer service and I can see why. They just don't seem to care. Not a way I would run a business!!!

The croque monsieur is great. The turkey cheese croissant is good as well. We come here every year for our anniversary trip as a breakfast of the day and we always love it. The only thing wrong this time that knocked a few points was the coffee tasted burned, it was so so bitter much more than last time and the girl behind the counter with the red hair could really fix her attitude. She shows that she hates her job by being rude and dismissive and she needs an adjustment. The man making the coffees with the glasses and beanie, he’s very nice I wish he was at the front. I’ve been debating between the two Honores I go to and this one is off my list, I’ll be going to the one in the north west side from now on as it’s much more friendly and the homeless aren’t outside the shop begging for money.

Cappuccinos on Wednesday and Thursday were great. Today, they sucked.

Visiting from out of town. This place is across the street from our hotel. Staff was rude and the food wasn't hot. They give you three drops of dressing for your lettuce "side salad" and act irritated when you need more to cover the lettuce. We are here for a week, but, we won't come back here.

TASTES GREAT BUT PRICED TO HIGHOrdered a turkey and cheese croissant it was pretty good. I would have liked the option to put a little more meat on it, however i was told I couldn't cause they had no way to charge for it. Minus the high price for it $12.85 for one croissant with little meat and cheese. It was good. I'll probably go somewhere else due to price though.

Had stomach ache all day. They also charged $8 extra on our credit card without our consent. I don't recommend if you'd like to be charged extra for food that'll make you sick.

Great location. The aromatic taste of cappuccino, mocha, latte! Very tasty cakes! But, unfortunately, the inside of the coffee shop is a bit dirty?
