“It's a starbucks, so you pretty much know what youre going to get. However the baristas and window people (it's a drive through) are always always always the best Starbucks people I've experienced! Thank you, all. You're exceptional, it shows, it's noticed, and so appreciated.“
“When I lived and worked out in this area, this Starbucks was my go-to for hot and cold beverages. The baristas are friendly and efficient. Stopped in the other day after a many year gap, and it was as warm and friendly as I remembered. Love the wall of customer's pet photos! It keeps me smiling as I wait for my beverage, which arrived with a positive affirmation label on the lid! Love the positivity! Parking can sometimes be a challenge depending on the time of day you stop in. I usually find a spot on the side street.“
“Very friendly staff at this store. They even pulled a short espresso of what tasted like their reserve coffee without charge to give me the extra caffeine kick I needed today.Wheelchair accessibility: Pretty decent accessibility, although Trimet did them kinda dirty with the 2" curb between the MAX station and the building's pavement.“
“Great Starbucks, they are super nice, seem to love their job, great service, they know how to make their drinks fast & efficiently. Only thing I had a issue with was the fact they allowed a homeless woman in with a VERY UNTRAINED dog, it smelled, ran under peoples feet, tables, whined a lot. It was just disturbing. They have the right to ask anyone to leave & when it's an issue, would hope they'd exercise that right. Other than that, it's a great location with amazing service.“
“This is one of my favorite Starbucks locations. Every time I have visited, the baristas greet regular customers by name and know their usual drinks. When my mom was in town, I took her here, thinking that they would accommodate her very specific drink order. They did an amazing job understanding what she wanted and making it with precision. There's no drive through. There is bike parking out front and a water bowl for doggies. There are two all-gender private restrooms. There is a whole shelf of board games, and a bulletin board with local info. People sit and chat, work, play at the indoor tables or handful of outdoor tables.“
“Okay so This location is a vibe. Shout-out to Levi, Elle, and Sam for being All-Stars… they really slayyy hard! It’s honestly giving excellence.Joe & Bailey are always a delight. The bathrooms are usually clean and the service is quick. The interior is clean!“
“This morning, I was absolutely floored by the kindness and excellent service provided to me by O’Ryan, the friendly gal running the cash register, and the rest of the staff at this location. I had accidentally purchased a bag of decaf Sumatra (that they so kindly offered to grind for me), and when I got back to the office all of my coworkers were so disappointed at my mistake! I called and spoke with O’Ryan and he was so pleasant and allowed me to exchange the coffee for non-decaf without issue. They even had the new bag ground up for me when I got there! This is the friendliest display of customer care I have seen from any food establishment in years and it really made my day! The employees at this location should receive a raise for their fabulous service (not to mention all the craziness they deal with downtown on a regular basis). They are promoting the Starbucks brand and five star service. Thank you, baristas!!!!“
“I'm going to up my rating:)Being all over to SO many Starbucks, they were the 1st ones to ask me my name while I ordered. I found that to be very pleasant. I'm not from this city anymore.Great customer service.I still stand on the no Sugar Free comment I made several years ago. I'll add that there is also no option to purchase decaf espresso beans. It's all caffeinated in stores in bags.Very unsatisfied that Sugar Free Choc is not available. This goes with ALL Starbucks.“
“Went thru the drive-thru. It took longer then usually. They were very apologetic for it and told me why they were behind. Very understandable. Like that they told me why instead of letting me just wait and wait. Tip them a $5. They needed a bright spot in their day.“
“This Starbuck's, located in the marketplace with Trader Joe's, after a winter storm demolished the power grid. It was good to see that their store was up-in-running! Especially, for those who just couldn't be off line?...lol Heat, great coffee, and tons of pep's! Although, one negative point to the Starbucks franchise...plz go back to selling your bean's and grinding them too. Oh, and for the pep's that were buying "iced coffee drinks" when it was nearly sub-zero outside...Good grief Charlie Brown! TY“
“I go to this starbucks almost every day and every single time, the workers greet me and have amazing customer service. I've never had a problem with any of the workers and almost never have had an issue with my order. Some of the staff are so kind that they offer me free food when it doesn't sell at the end of the day and are overall just the kindest people. I always feel welcomed and they get the orders out quite quickly even when they're busy. I 100% recommend this starbucks and I'm happy to say that I'm a regular here.“
“Staff are very nice and always call me by name. Everything is good other than the place that needs to be kept cleaner. It's always been an issue at this location. The service bar is clean, but they tend to only focus on behind the counter and not bathrooms, tables, or floors. I rarely see anyone cleaning outside the bar area.“
“I wanted to come and say that I appreciate that customer service as of recent. The lady that caused me an issue was probably having a bad day. Ever since then the customer service has been way better. I chose to give them another chance because I felt so comfortable coming to this location. I'm glad I chose to come back.“
“I LOVE them all ! Such great people . Make me feel at home everytime . They remember my drink , my name , my daughters name. Also remember our birthdays . They go above and beyond! Such a great team . I ONLY go to this Starbucks forget the other ones lol love y’all ?“
“Really good service. I was curious about an ingredient I saw them using, so just asked them what it was. The barista was nice enough to take time to explain what it was, but also give me some try ( pumpkin creme foam). He was able to make time for this, despite being quite busy.“
“The new crew, or at least under the new manager, are friendly, inviting, non judgemental, efficient, and professional. Definitely a very good improvement. Keep up the good work!Vegetarian options: Options to substitute milk with soy, almond, or coconut milk. They have protein boxes with fruit and cheese, salads, oatmeal, definitely something for a vegetarian or vegan to be able to enjoy.Dietary restrictions: Any of their sandwiches can have something removed, for dietary purposes or just preference.“
“The cleanest Starbucks in Portland, great vibes with neighborhood dogs outside, kids having a good time, and kind baristas. They have wheelchair access and many regular customs I notice are always having egaging discussions with the staff when they have the time. Definitely worth the trip! Parking seems terrible at first, but the art center acroiss the street has a ton of parking that never fills up!Love it here.“
“I gotta say this place is great. I had a meeting there and they gave me my space with my client and even offered a free crossiant. Clean place all around including bathrooms. Customer service great and not fake just to be kind. Genuine customer service that will definitely have me come back just for that. Went during the evening which seems the best time to visit without crowds. The fact that is raining hard may have helped on not a big crowd. Drinks made to order and they have great suggestions.Parking: Not a really big parking lot, but enough spaces during not so busy times.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs.“
“I stopped in today to purchase two drip Pike place drips for my husband and I. The store was clean and while it had a few customers, it wasn't loud. The store was clean and inviting. I also appreciate the holiday decorations and ambience that this store and Starbucks prides itself on creating. Unfortunately today the drip coffees didn't taste very robust. However in true Starbucks fashion to always make sure the customer has a great and consistent experience, the Starbucks partners quickly sought to correct the situation and added a shot of espresso to both my husband and my order. I will definitely stop back in at this location and continue to be a Starbucks loyal customer! Happy holidays and a thank you to the Starbucks partners.“
“The sweetest baristas! I come here (unapologetically) 3-4 times a week, and it's one of the best parts of my day! My coffee is always right and done by the time I get there :)Highly recommend ordering ahead, but other than that it's fantastic!“
“I love this Starbucks! I live in the neighborhood and come in about once a week. The baristas are all so kind and cute and provide such excellent customer service. I normally question supporting big corporate businesses like this, but knowing that these workers are unionized makes me feel better about my decision! I am proud of them for unionizing and I hope they continue to work together to support one another and the community they serve. One question, though - where did the pride flag that’s been hanging up for months go???“
“I’ve been to this location a couple of times and always had a wonderful service. I went in today around 3 after a very long week and was greeted by a cheery woman who was very helpful and just an incredibly pleasant person who in a short interaction impacted my day positively. I didn’t catch her name but she is exceptional and an asset to this store!“
“Located inside of Safeway, this is your typical Starbucks kiosk with all the usuals plus holiday faves. Whenever Safeway offers me a $2 grande through "u safe" deals, I can't resist getting a coffee drink. Yesterday I tried the new Gingerbread Chai, a first in their holiday menu. The oat milk gave it a thick and rich consistency but the flavor of all the spices was super intense and sweet. three sips was enough for me. Their flavored drinks are very sweet and I typically reduce the pumps from 4 to 2 and forgot to do that yesterday. The barista offered to make me another drink - thank you - but I decided to take it home and reengineer it! I made tea and added half the gingerbread chai and it was much better, subtle. I did the same the next morning to finish the drink. This location is convenient when I'm doing a grocery run. The experience and quality of drinks is consistent to the brand and friendly baristas - all good.“
“Fortunely, i have never been to starbucks.I really feel uncomfortable about my race of people always being profiled. I dont even believe that the satback as far as the fact that they are going to learn a better way. Trump has given permission to all rascist to come out of the closet, with having to respect anyone but people with white skin. Judgement day is coming for us all. God says red, yellow, black and blue we are all Gods people.“
“The staff at this location are so nice and helpful! I can always count on my questions to be answered and my coffee to be made with care. If you stop by, you may feel like you’re visiting a small local coffee shop as opposed to a Starbucks in a Safeway.“
“It’s a Starbucks that’s inside a Fred Meyer… what else is there to know? Why are you even reading this review? I’m writing this review as i wait for a mocha, which will taste like exactly like I expect - because it’s a mocha, from a Starbucks, in a Fred Meyer.Don’t forget to bring some cash for a tip!“
“Plenty of varied seating. Large table has comfy chairs and hooks underneath tabletops to hang bags or whatever you don't want on the floor. Decent wifi. Staff are friendly. Space doesn't seem stuffy or too crowded. Only downside is the baristas didn't shake/stir/mix our drinks well and we had to uncapped our lids to stir our drinks a long time to mix evenly.“
“They are really quick here! Compared to other Starbucks-inside of grocery stores, this place is really efficient. And, every drink I have has been sweetened just the right amount. The staff is really friendly, and seems to learn a lot of the "regulars" drink orders. I will definitely go back!!“
“This Starbucks has a drive-thru which I use every once in a while. On this visit I went into the store. There was an associate by the name of Gavin ready to help me. He got my order correct on the first try. There is plenty of room to sit at this location and the overall ambiance is welcoming.Dietary restrictions: Starbucks typically has the largest milk alternative options of any coffee shops.Wheelchair accessibility: This location is wheelchair accessible.“
“There's a certain employee that works there that I always notice their car, but I've never learned who it belongs to. Their license plate stays in the mind. I actually look forward to seeing it. Almost like it's agreeing that this is a good place to get coffee every time I leave. Always so happy.Vegetarian options: So many fruit and nut prepackaged trays.“
“In my rush to place an online order this morning, I selected the wrong store. When I got to Pac West location, barista Saroya asked what I was waiting for and I realized my error. Saroya was so kind and thoughtful, and gave me my drink and food items with no additional charge. She went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and not a bother, and I appreciate it especially on a stressful morning. Thank you for the legendary service!“
“It's a Starbucks in a hospital. The space is large and decorated for a children's hospital. The food is Starbucks, full of cheap ingredients at premium prices. The drinks are over priced and full of sugar. You can help finance their investment schemes by putting money into the Starbucks app.The parking is free for patients and visitors. Lots of construction and parking decks. Not a fun place for long vehicles or trailers.Lots of poke stops and gyms. There are public places to walk inside, but it is a hospital, so best to avoid if you're looking for a community day or event play and not working, patient, or visitor. There are plenty of other much better places to play Pokemon go.Vegetarian options: This is the food you should be eating.Parking: There are a few parking lot spaces but long or trailer vehicles will not be able to find parking.Kid-friendliness: It's a children's hospital, so it depends on your kid.Wheelchair accessibility: Totally wheelchair accessible.“
“It's just so expensive...over $6 for a venti frap. I can't afford it often, but have a gift card from Christmas. I love the lemon loaf and banana bread. Ask them to warm it up with butter. MmmParking: It's a super tiny lot, so beware and don't park at the building next door or they'll tow!“
“West Hills Starbucks on Barnes Road, always friendly, efficient, and the drinks there are usually first-rate. Definitely enjoy it every time I go there, which isn't often, but the service and quality seems consistent. Definitely worth giving a try, if you haven't already. Best Wishes!“
“The attention was excellent, I went with my children this weekend Saturday and Sunday to have breakfast, we were on vacation and SHE took great care of us. I hope SHE can see this message and feel proud of her great attention, we will return soon ??“
“This Starbucks location is spacious, making it a great place to sit, relax, and enjoy your coffee. Unlike some of the other locations where it's just buy and go, this location has nice chairs and tables that are ideal for getting work done.“
“Not my first time here , definitely won’t be my last. Good helpful working boys & girls. Cleaned well inside & out; bathroom also. Good variety of hot & cold coffee with variety of flavors; also muffins & pastry. And egg sandwiches with bacon. All yummy in my tummy; worth every penny. Thanks for good service Starbucks; keep up the good work.“
“Had a meeting here. Coffee is what I expected from any SBUX. Friendly staff. Quiet early in the morning. Managed to wrap up right before the students started shuffling in for their caffeine fix before school - the line was growing as I walked out. Students and others had a line to the door by the time I pulled out of my parking spot.“
“I went here today stressed out and in a bad mood as I just got the voicemail of the test results back from the vet on my Pet gecko Larry as he has a hernia and is going to require surgery, long story short, I was having a bad day; I came in to the store to get some needed items and stopped in to get a quick iced mocha latte to power up my day. The manager on duty at Starbucks, Jake or John I believe, served me and was so incredibly kind and friendly, asking me how my day was and although I broke down in tears and was howling over my Larry, the manager listened and let me have my moment and just provided the most incredible customer service experience I've ever had at a Starbucks in Portland. He made me feel like I mattered and made my drink so incredibly quick, it made for a much needed break before heading home. The drink was delicious, thank you to the kind manager for making my day with asking how I was and he even did an impression of Baby Yoda for me since I was wearing a Baby Yoda shirt. Best Starbucks ever, will definitely make it a point to stop by this one more often!“
“I really like the convenience of albertsons. I just wish they would do something about the sketchy dudes using the back parking lot to do drugs, chop up stolen cars, dump trash and deficate on the sidewalk. it makes us not want to shop there!“
“Sweet friendly staff. They made me a sample of the new green matcha lavender drink before I purchased it because it was slow and I asked in detail about the lavender. Ive never had that experience before eithout it being made for a whole dining area. Remember to carry dollars to tip establishments that don't allow or "do" credit card tips. I don't like the prices of the food at Starbucks and I've worked there so it isn't my deal but I do go for new drinks. Know what you like and you'll have a good time. Conveniently located next to their grocery store cafe area so there is a larger seating space than many store Starbucks. My guy liked his quad mocha. Per usual we did breve. It's nice to get special coffee sometimes.Dietary restrictions: Milk optionsParking: FredmeyerKid-friendliness: Dining areaWheelchair accessibility: Dining area“
“I want to clarify the Greenburg Starbucks is the only in all of Portland that I have visited. THE ONLY to make my Carmel Macchiato without that burnt, sweet after-taste. I can taste the nutty flavor of he coffee and swirling rich Carmel as one. There is an order of operations I call it. When to add the water is the key. That is what one Seattle Starbuck's Barista expressed to me after my reaction to the divine taste he created. Greenburg Starbucks thank you for your outstanding tasting coffee.“
“I'm a coffee snob and can't believe I'm writing a review about a Starbucks, but I'm so impressed that I feel compelled to set the record straight from misleading reviews from people like 'James'. First of all, let's call out the elephant, it's a Starbucks, therefore the coffee is of Starbucks quality and consistency. There are standard menus, recipes, and machines that the baristas push buttons for, so the actual skill applied to make a good drink is minimal. Starbucks has all but eradicated the possibility of human error in their product quality and yet the differentiating factor for any location now is in its team. This team is amazing and you can see that they work extremely well together and enjoy what they do. They push a significant level of volume out of this location; the to-go orders are excessive, all the while managing knuckleheads that don't know how to order a Starbucks size properly (me). Their movements are coordinated and they orchestrate their tasks beautifully with kind, attentive, and enthusiastic service. This team deserves the kudos and this is a good location. Now for the fun part. James here, the critic du jour, also claimed 8 months ago that there was another Starbucks on the precipice of its demise. Like a stockbroker, James' record isn't so great. I'd also like to make mention that one of his previous reviews' of his McDonalds service was quite critical and was disappointed in not getting his free refill. Sadly, another one star review posted on a place that likely didn't deserve it. Better luck next time, James. I do hope we cross paths at this wonderful establishment soon.“
“Every person who works at this location is a gift. The drinks are ✨✌️xlnt. I had too much of a good time coming here, and was spending too many dollars just to get a delicious chai and a very nice interaction with a kind barista. Go buy a beverage from a sweet Youth, and tell them my review sent you.“
“I'll be honest, I've only used the drive thru.... food lost a star because they're often out of ingredients for my favorite drink! friendly faces and quick service even if there's a line. don't expect a conversation but they are always friendly here.“
“Our awesome tatted barista was the best part of going to Starbucks. She was fantastic. I don't understand how the supposed pinnacle of customizable coffee has ONE sugar free option. Dutch Bros will always be the clear winner.Dietary restrictions: If you're keto or diabetic, stick with Dutch Bros. Starbucks isn't it.“
“The cashier is RUDE AS HELL, SLOW AS HELL.....I WAS HELL. I can't go n2 a Safeway or Freddy's w/o getting a frap. On top if the rudeness... with a hat on top of brassy , bushy red hair he looks like a cowboy. Bag experience all the way.“
“I have always had an excellent customer experience with everyone here, as well as consistently great coffee and food! I love their London Fog Tea Latte w/soy, and the Spinach, Feta Egg White Wrap. This morning, I witnessed the barista with the short blonde hair (didn’t catch their name!) be present, patient, and compassionate with a houseless man struggling to communicate his beverage order. Thanks the coffee, and thanks for keeping the culture of kindness alive in Portland!“
