I don't normally eat at food trucks but I might be a convert. I was in a long line to consign at Village Merchants and started with two tacos. These are by far the best tacos I've had in Portland - very flavorful and delicious and just the right size. Loved the shedded beef especially.
Been eating here for almost 10 years. It's still my favorite taco and burrito cart. Worth going out of your way for, never had a bad meal here.Parking: Don't try parking in the lot if it looks more than half full, it's an odd shape and can be difficult to get out of when it's close to full.
