Need a change from typical American breakfast with eggs and potatoes? This is your spot no doubt. Cannot get more authentic, fresh, and tasty. Step out of your comfort zone and try TarBoush for breakfast or brunch.Vegetarian options: Hummus, falafel

Had dinner here with my girlfriend a few nights ago. One of the best meals out we have had in a while. Can't recommend it enough.

Being from Detroit an area rich with labenese and middle eastern culture I've struggled since moving to Portland. This place feels like home!! So good! Come for authentic food and you'll leave with left overs!

Best lamb I've had in AWHILE! Very friendly service, yummy lasso drinks, appetizers, hummus, kabobs, desserts, grape leaves, even the lentil soup was good! Can't really go wrong with any of their food.

The restaurant has a very warm and cozy vibe, besides most importantly the food was amazing. I have tried many Lebanese restaurants in city, most of them are good, and Tarboush I would rate as best. I ordered chicken breast which was very flavourful and soft. The rice had perfect texture and wasn’t dry. Also the garlic sauce on the side didn’t have overpowering garlic taste, and didn’t have any aftertaste, it was perfect. I also liked the fact they are open atleast until 9pm unlike others which closes at 8pm.

Tarboush has been a favorite of mine for some time now. I grew up eating mostly Vietnamese/Chinese cuisine and it's always been my favorite, but I have to say Lebanese food is amazing and it really hits all of the right notes for a palette that is used to East Asian food. The hummus is probably the best in the city that I've had; the pita bread that comes out before your food is always freshly baked and hot from the oven; the entrees are all amazing. I've tried just about everything on the menu - The Kafta Kabob is a favorite of mine but you can't go wrong with the Salmon or Tuna either. The portion sizes are more than enough for the price! I'm a heavy eater and a big guy and I always leave Tarboush completely full and plate (mostly) empty. I would highly recommend Tarboush to anyone interested in trying Lebanese cuisine! Oh, and the owners are fantastic and friendly folks, which makes going there for a nice dinner all the more worthwhile!

Love this place! From drinks, to dinner, to dessert they don't miss. We tried a few different dishes, all of them were absolutely delicious. I think the hummus and the TarBoush Rose City are a must, but I don't think there's any way to go wrong here. Service was excellent and overall experience was incredibly enjoyable.

Tarboush is the best Lebanese food in town. Go for the made to order Pita and anything with chicken. Spices are an A+ too.

We went here for my wife's birthday. We had a fun night and is was perfect place for our family celebration. Good food and drinks in a relaxing atmosphere. The food was fantastic and the highlight of the evening. They have plenty of meat, vegetarian, and vegan options. The star of the evening was the pita with the cold mezza and vegetarian mezza plates. Fresh creamy, smokey, smooth with hot out of the oven pita. The owner was great and very accommodating. We had a mess-up on a dish but they made it right. This place is not fast. It wasn't too long either, just know that you need to chill and enjoy your meal. The setting was nice, causual, cozy, with nice lighting. The owner was friendly, when asked if he was the one that prepared food he stated, "I am good at eating the food. My wife is the cook."I would highly recommend this place, especially if you enjoy Mediterranean food.Vegetarian options: Clearly labeled veggie and vegan section on the menu.Kid-friendliness: They are happy to make modifications to keep is simple for the littles. Lots of tasty drinks as well
