EDIT: OFFICIALLY CLOSED AS OF 1/20/2021!!! I would say I will miss this place but Karmas a B!tch Loved coming to tasty for brunch until the food and service began to decline. One of the worst managers I've had to deal with as well, doesn't understand the concept of hospitality at all. Really sad to say my wife and I will stop frequenting tasty as there service and food does NOT match what they are asking for it.

Pre-COVID, and yes I see that they're closed, but I'm going to complete this review with hopes that they reopen someday. I'm so d*** for not completing this review earlier, but anyways here it goes... We arrived on a busy (slightly rainy) Saturday morning and thought, it couldn't possibly be too busy for 'a table for two' right? Wrong! The wait was an hour, ugh! Hmm where to kill some time, well I moved the car closer since I parked along the street. Its pretty much only street parking around here, so keep that in mind. AND there was a parking meter guy going around checking permits. So beware! While parking near the church, it appeared that most people just killed time by going to Blue Star Donuts nearby. But they too had a long line lol! We decided to just wait at Tasty instead, and little did we know there was a standing section in front of the bar. TIP, TIP! Little did we know that by kicking it there just to wait would also pay off. Here's why: ~ The host guy, I forgot his name (sorry), but he glanced over the wall and said there's a spot for the two of you to stand at instead of blocking the entrance. He wasn't mean, he was just being mindful as he also mentioned that we can also order drinks while we wait. Excellent! ~ While standing and waiting, Megan the bartender, approached us and gave us menus, water, and said we can pre-order until a spot at the bar opens or if our name is called for a table. Sa weet! Low and behold, we were given waters, placed our orders, and it was only about a twenty minutes later that a couple had got up from the bar. And thank you Megan for the excellent service from start to finish. She seemed to have been hustling around the bar, but was always able to check in on us. Of course now the star of the show was THE FOOD! Here's what we ordered: ~ Potatoes Bravas (half order, $6), which came with a poached egg. I know you've seen all the videos and pics for them before reading reviews. And yeah, they are as good as they look. For me they're fluffy potato wedges with a tasty'n'alder seasoning. Break open that egg yolk, and BAM, heaven!!! ~ Korean Fried Chicken ($17) oh man. This is another one in which you've probably drooled over seeing the pics and videos as well. It too is as good as it looks! Not too spicy in my opinion, but I can see folks trying to adjust to it. Too me, it's comfort food at it's best. And again, it's the same foodgasmic feeling while breaking that egg yolk and watching it simply ooze onto the chicken and rice. Mmmm!!! ~ Steak and Eggs ($19) oh baby! Tender cubes of beef! Nicely seasoned, and in an iron skillet, with fresh cornbread and the cheddar eggs. I can see why this was a popular dish, or 'pan' in this case. I would order this again if I ever get the opportunity. ~ We had quite a few mixed drinks as well like the Honey Shrub, a Bloody Mary (it may have had bacon idk), and a couple of Irish Cream Kahlua Coffees. But all went well with our entrees. So that just about sums it up. TL:DR: "Excellent" service! A tad expensive in prices, but "Excellent" food makes it worth it! An awesome bar and dining atmosphere! "Excellent" drinks! Met a few folks while at the bar, so "Excellent" patrons eating here as well! Their website really is down and expired, so I'm sad to confirm that they're freakin' CLOSED!!!!! This is my 800th yelp review and I PLEA... PLEASE RE-OPEN TASTY PLEASE!!!!!!

A really great place for brunch - although there may be a wait! It's worth it. Our group of five sampled nearly everything offered at brunch and everything was amazing. Although not a 'super foodie', I do love foie gras, and can't get it in CA. Food was delicious and tasty.

There was quick, helpful, and friendly service. Prices that won't shock you. Atmosphere is similar to a place in Columbus I loved.

We chose this restaurant purely based on rating and hotel location. It was amazing! The waitress and service was excellent. Then there’s the food - unbelievable. There’s no chance the food was healthy, with how delicious it was!! Will be back for sure. Highly recommend.

Nice location to meet with family. Next time I'll be back with my friends. Prices were fair for the quality of the food.

Tasty n Alder has satisfied my breakfast and brunch cravings for years. Pro Tip: If your staying nearby put in your RSVP and then wait back at the hotel for your spot.

Came here on a Saturday. The staff was helpful and kind. The place has a good feel to it. They have a lot of good reviews for a reason.

Totally over rated and over priced lunch place. And it's not worth the 1 hour wait ATT ALL. I don't recommend it to all the tourists.

We went on a Sunday morning and it was very busy. Wait was about 45min. Food was yummy! Everything is family style
