Way overpriced. I believe it was $17 for what I got, which was basically dry chicken over potatoes. And it comes in a relatively small bowl. Feels like you’re paying for the trendy location, and not the actual food.

I visit Pine Street Market monthly for dinner and after eating at Tavli once, I've had a hard time eating at any of the other great spots. I already love the simple Mediterranean to Mideast food served all over town, but Tavli has delicious ingredient combinations that I haven't seen in this category of restaurants in Portland. Not your average falafel by any means.

The food is the highlight, so incredibly tasty and healthy. I recommend the plate with eggplant kefedthes and the haloumi YUMM!! ✨

Hand made bread, and fresh grilled meat! Excellent place to get a custom made dish where you get to pick your toppings. I enjoyed the flavor of the fresh taztizki.

The food at the place was really great. We got the salad, and it was amazing. The sauce was the kicker of all. The falafel was soft and delicious, and the best I've had yet.

Had the pita with the eggplant meatballs with the charred carrots and tzatziki sauce. The meatballs were the outstanding element of the sandwich and hit all the right texture with a crunchy crust, but bite-able crust and a melty soft inside that had a distinct eggplant taste. When I wrapped the pita up burrito style, the flavors came together quite perfectly with notes of salty, spicy, and acidic that left my tastebuds tingling and wanting more. Not to say that the portion was small, in fact I found it to be the perfect size even if I was quite hungry - filling but not overly big. Server was very helpful with explaining menu items and giving recommendations. One critique is that it was all quite garlicky - did not notice it immediately but let's say I would not recommend for a first date...

Got to try a couple of their wraps and they're pretty good! I think their fillings were all very flavorful. The Beef & Lamb was a tad dry but well-seasoned. A big fan of their Roasted Butternut Squash, worked surprisingly well as a gyro filling. I also like how fresh their herbs and vegetables are. The sauces were very tasty as well. Pita bread could be softer and warmer though. Not a bad quick grab option but I'm not rushing to come back either.

So fresh, soooo good! Each part of my bowl was great. Flavored perfectly. The red sauce/dip they have, what!? So tasty!I would say it’s pricy for the portions you get but honestly for some of the best food I’ve had and the most fresh kale I’ve had via takeout ever, it’s worth it. They can keep taking my money!

I tried the souvlaki plate with classic garnish (cherry tomato, red onion, parsley) and it was easily the best Greek meal I've ever had. The greens were fresh and abundant, the potatoes were roasted to a nice crisp and the garnish was extremely flavorful and complemented everything perfectly. I've never had anything like it! It was so good, by the time it's occurred to me to take a picture, I've already finished the whole plate!Everyone I interacted with was also super kind and accommodating. 10/10 would recommend!

Delicious, great portion size for the price, friendly and professional service. Didn't take long for my order. Definitely worth the trek.

I'm giving the food 1 star based on value. Our 18.00 Slouvaki was a bowl of deep fried potatoes with a garnish of chicken that was 2 ounces or less and a very small kale & cherry tomato salad. For 6.00 we added the eggplant kefthedes which had a paste filling with no flavor. The low score on service is because the cashier had a phone in their hand the entire time and wasn't customer service oriented. Eleni's wasn't opened for lunch, so we left and went to Nicholas where for the same price, we got two big skewers of lamb & chicken and a large salad with table service.

The taste was average. I'm not a big eater but the portion was way too small compared to the price.

Saw this place pop up on 2g2g so figured it was a good excuse to head downtown. It's located in the Pine St Market...a nice food court w plenty of seating, self serve ice water and clean restrooms. Oh and also Trivia on Thursdays...theme was Disney (not sure if this is erry Thurs). All staff I encountered were nice. Anyhoots. The dish was delish even tho I wonder if it would've been more stacked if it was a reg order vs 2g2g or if this their usual serving size. The sauce was a welcomed accompaniment to merry all the flavors. The star tho was the pita bread wrap. I'd wrap that round any thaaang!
