Best place to grab a pint or two before a PTFC game. No food unless there is a food truck.

Great people and tasty beverages. The bottle and can selection is excellent, and the rotating taps are always good. What sets Civic apart is the community. Once you go, you'll keep going back. The atmosphere is unpretentious and not divey at all.

All your place needs is some basic grub.Chips and salsa and tacos would be perfect.Im a cook.I will make you the best sampler for free and bet you a job that you will love it. And if not, I’ll pay you 100$ cash

I went here last winter to get a couple drinks around 9-10 pm. When I first came in, I was met by a very loud unleashed dog charging at me and baring his teeth (I am not exaggerating). I was so stunned and scared! The female bartender grabbed her dog with a passive apology and then told us she was closing in the next few minutes anyways despite the multiple customers sitting at the bar. It was a great excuse to get the heck out of there. Do not recommend especially if you have a fear of dogs. I do not have a fear of dogs but holy crap I thought I was going to get bitten.

I came to participate in trivia with my family because my daughter ran the game. The large male bartender was easily the worst and obnoxious bartender that I've encountered in months. He would yell from across the room if he could get you something so that he didn't get off his bar seat, so he can continue to BS with the other customers. He made the wrong charges on our bill two times and acted like it was our fault because he wasn't paying attention. I will never go back to this place and I will tell everyone I know to never attend this establishment because this guy, who obviously loves himself so much, is insulting to everyone else there.

Neighborhood taproom, decent selection of beer and cider on tap along with bottles of wine to buy, you can purchase a bottle and have it on premise which I love. Friendly staff and you are able to bring in your own food to this establishment which is another major plus. I love that they also have different wines that you wouldn't find in your local grocery store so it's a great way to try wines from all over.

Great taproom in close proximity to Providence Park! It's modern, clean, great service, great beer selection and good vibes. I love that they have been having a DJ there on game days as well. The new installations on the wall are amazing depicting the success of the Timbers and thorns. Honestly, only one downfall. It's so small! Game days are usually packed with very few seating available. Having the outside "patio" area definitely helps some though. I would love to see this place expand somewhere still close to make it more accommodating. Preferably the brand new press blocks retail spots for lease. Overall, make sure to check it out on game days or a chill spot to have a beer if it's not.

2nd review. Besides only having Apple TV on the back TVs so no Timbers on the main TVS at a Timbers bar the servers are constantly provide poor or rude customer service. Sorry Civic you fail again....

Went in before a timbers game today. Bathroom stunk of pee. Was going to order a beer until I noticed a cockroach crawl across the bar top. Gross! We left immediately.

Update: I stand corrected! Apparently there are more NA options than I was given to believe. Perhaps it was particularly busy that day or my friends who tried to get me a drink are the ones who deserve 3 stars - just kidding! ;) Rest assured I will check this out post haste! Take my review with a grain of salt as I'm not a beer drinker. This is a fun place to meet up with friends before a Timbers match (or presumably at other times), but if you don't drink alcohol, not so much. It is my fervent hope that reviews like this one will encourage taphouses to have more non-alcoholic options. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but on a recent visit, I was advised that the only NA option was water. Boring! Grab a case of coke and a case of diet and your sober patrons and DDs will stay longer with their beer guzzling friends.

Honestly, this place is awesome! The problems are bartenders are allowing patrons to yell and scream at other patrons and banning them. They Dont allow people to have different opinions that have been drinking. They allow the crazy drunk girl to scream to their heavens because a man disagreed with their opinion. Especially after a women's soccer match where they rooted for the same team. It is a shame.
