The Fixin To is a true gem that is so underappreciated it almost makes me sick - but that's part of the charm. Come see for yourself. Half of the time I come in the Silver Jews or Sebadoh are playing and I instantly forget my worries and know I'm in a magical place - if only for a little while. I recently visited The Fix-in-to and while the outdoor patio was fantastic and provided ample seating, the smell inside the bar was quite unpleasant and overshadowed the experience. Despite that, I can imagine it being five stars if the smell was absent on another day. I didn't even want to order another drink because of it. Overall, I still think The Fix-in-to is a decent three-star establishment because of the awesome atmosphere outside and the potential for a great experience overall.
