My family came to this neighborhood for our annual summer vacation and this little store was within walking distance of our airbnb. The owner was welcoming and so sweet to tell my grandma the history of the store. They offer a variety of breakfast and lunch sandwiches, the breakfast sandwiches were a hit with the whole family. I live in the neighborhood and I am so happy to see the little store thriving and back. It was rundown for years until a few years ago after a long construction it came back better then ever.A very cozy, family friendly environment with a nice patio for family and friends to relax. I love this place, and the staff is hilarious. However, it's a bit... odd. I don't think they know what their own audience is supposed to be. The majority of it is candy, but they also have... Beer? And coffee? And apparently tobacco? And all this is placed right by an elementary school.
