We weren't as impressed with this place as others may have been. The atmosphere is a bit run down, the food just ok and the service was just ok as well. Not bad or a place to avoid at all, just a mediocre place to eat.

I had the chicken/ blue cheese salad. The waitress was very pleasant but we had to get up a couple times to get what we needed. I will admit that we were outside and they were busy it was 1:00 pm when we were seated.

Stark street food is always the best. You’d drive right by it if you weren’t on an adventure, but don’t because it’s some really good food. The staff was great, the food was great, and the bar looked amazing (a little too early to be drinking).

We came here a couple hours before closing on 4/3 and sat in the back room. We had come in to celebrate my birthday after leaving a different restaurant that ended up being a nightmare. The Observatory saved the evening! The service and food were fantastic, and our server made excellent recommendations. We ordered the cheese platter to share, I got the strip steak and my fiance had the Mac and cheese with andouille. We are moving to the area soon, and we will definitely become regulars ?

Cool American restaurant in the Montavilla neighborhood that's perfect for a date night. My partner and I stopped by after catching a movie in the nearby theatre, and there are a couple of different options for seating. The front has a more typical restaurant feeling to it, and the back is more like a casual dive bar with televisions, but they serve the same food. Service is friendly and efficient in both areas. They make a great macaroni and cheese here and offer a lot of higher end but not unreasonably priced takes on classic American foods. They also have some pretty cool drinks, including some that are not alcoholic, like fruity lemonades. The atmosphere was really nice overall. It's definitely a place I would recommend.

-I ordered the mac and cheese, it was alright, but kind of flavorless. The mango lemonade was an interesting combination but it wasn’t bad.-Staff was very nice and they moved quickly.-Atmosphere was great. I really enjoyed it.I would recommend this place, even if the food isn’t my thing. Maybe it’s just what I ordered.

WARNING: INSPECT YOUR BILLS AND CALCULATE YOUR OWN TIP PERCENTAGE.We frequent here and usually never have any issues. Once in a while, we order a drink we don't like and have it switched out. I really appreciate the servers being really nice and accommodating doing this.HOWEVER, this time, we noticed the bill tip percentage was higher than the actual correct percentage. I realized that they calculate the tip based on everything you order, including orders you sent back..I switched my drinks. Yes, they take it off the bill, but the tips are based on the bill with that drink before they take it off... it's so shady... Yes, it's in the small fine print, but the fact that they do it anyway doesn't sit well with me.My gripe is with the restaurant. Why are your tips not calculated on the TOTAL bill after adjustments??? It's just SO shady. What if someone ordered a higher priced meal, didn't like it, and opted for a lower priced option? It feels so scammy. This makes me sad because we really liked this place but do not support predatory practices. Do better.

Staff are very friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the food and drinks are awesome. We had the apple pear beet salad…they were so good. For desert we had the creme brûlée which had the orange flavor in the glaze. Needless to say it was really good as well. Highly recommend this place.

If you visit you cannot leave without trying the Fry Bread! It pairs perfectly with any of their signature cocktails. The atmosphere is. Feels upscale with a laid back vibe!
