Love this place. The big bowl is fresh, quick and reasonably priced. If I'm in the vicinity of one of their food carts I make it a point not to bring a lunch that day.

Tastes like sour bread. Small bowl, rice isn’t cooked right, and you can make this easily at home, with better ingredients and better taste. Not sure why anyone would come

One of the best food carts in Portland! Great food and for a solid price. Fills the stomach up for hours. Service is always fast and they keep the place clear of homeless as much as they can on Sandy Blvd. Check it out!

Honestly, I saw this place when I stopped for tacos next to it and I was super intrigued. I finally stopped to check it out. When I went to do this review, I realized there are multiple of this spot all over town, fyi. I stopped right during lunch time. There were four people ahead of me and I was worried it would take a while, but it did not - pretty quick. I got the big bowl with everything. It was really good. The sauce was interesting and made it very delicious. I recommend stirring up your bowl to mix the sauce around. I didn't see much salsa in mine. The dish is overall a super filling, healthy and affordable lunch option. The pics are not super pretty - but it was smashed with a lid to be a to go order. Update - added a new bowl I got without a lid - much nicer!

Always good. Consistent. So many eatery's in PDX took a dive after Covid and The Whole Bowl deserves lots of accolades for being good! Filling, warm, healthy and delicious! Usually no wait! Big fan!

Super tasty!! Just wish they had tofu like Cafe Yumm has. Would be absolutely perfect if there were some veggie protein options

Not impressed. Too expensive for something so plain. Get a burrito from the next cart instead. That place doesn't disappoint!

It tastes so good, and I love having it really close to where I live. I do wish they had more protein options, like The Mighty Bowl in Vancouver.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST. The whole bowl is damn near the greatest thing after a chilly winter run in Portland. I always wanted o try this place, as it was recommended by many, but never tried because it seemed to simple to spend money on. Let me tell you it's so worth it. Especially for $8 you get a large portion of the one item on the menu! Legit came twice in four day visit. So simple. Brown rice is so creamy, olives salty, tali sauce is crack, cilantro gives a little spice. Ultimate healthy comfort food.
