The food was excellent! Oh my god! So good! The atmosphere was weird it was like eating in someone's garage. But if you want really great Mexican food this is the place for you!

It is one of the very few places that offers vegetarian street tacos. I enjoy the store, the menu is very nice. I enjoy the breads at the bakery and the fresh cactus.

Always good food here. But their prices can vary a lot for a given item day-to-day, and creep upward.

I didn't like it very much. I went to buy bread 3 days ago and the truth is that there were two mosquitoes inside the bread display cases.

Who cares if this place feels like the back of a high school stage, between a warehouse and a grocery store. It is DELICIOUS. And you can eat in.Casual, mouth-explodingly delicious, and budget friendly. What a treat.Vegetarian options: Bean/queso options, but vastly more meat choices. But a vegetarian can eat heartily ?

A fun little neighborhood market and restaurant in St. Johns. It's a good place to grab some quick eats, Hispanic groceries, meats, desserts, pane dolce, or household and cooking supplies. Oh, and 100s of colorful piñatas to choose from!I usually pop in to grab a burrito, but today, I went for a combo plate with my friend. Chili rellenos are not noted on the menu, but they do have them. Just a smidge disappointed as my chili relleno was not hot, so the cheese was not melty as it should be. There was no sauce served with it either. I made up for it with their yummy green salsa. The chips were hot and delicious, as were the beans, rice, and corn tortillas. So, it's not a total fail. I did grab a few sweet treats on the way out.Something that does bother me is that there are no prices noted on the menu board, nor are there any paper/handheld menus. So dependent on the cashier, my bean burrito could be $5 or $9...it's irritating.5 stars - market3 stars - restaurantStaff were very friendly and helpful.

Great Mexican food in the restaurant, quietly tucked in the back of the market. The market has a great selection of authentic Mexican food and products. They even have a meat deli, fresh donuts/sweets, and produce. Stumbled across this place years ago, and I’ve been coming here ever since. Being inside here feels identical to a shop in Mexico.Parking: Street parking, or park on a side street and walk.

3 delicious (and dare I say best in the city) al pastor tacos for only $7. Make it a meal and add a churro from the bakery and a drink for $12 total. All out to you in 10 minutes or less in an unfussy atmosphere. Where else in Portland are you getting a deal like that?

This place is irrible, terrible service, rude, expensive, and the food is no longer of the same quality, they want to charge you for everything, in reality, I have not returned every day, they are worse and they serve you in a bad way, the broths are horrible, and it is the same broth for everything.Bad experience

Great food, great little Mexican grocery store.

We love the pan dulce. Sometimes it's just the panderia that entices. The burrito was enormous! They serve a really big bowl of really good pozole that has a lot of heat to it. The lime wedges go with it perfectly. With tortillas on the side. The entire restaurant needs to be steam cleaned and repainted.
