Easily the best cupcakes in Portland. Seriously no competition. The flavors are heavenly. Have bought these every year since moving here. Looking forward to their re-opening at a new location tba.

Toadstool's cupcakes are SO delicious! They're seriously the most perfect little bite. I love how many options they have in there as well. So varied and all so good!

Was gifted a variety pack from a friend. Really enjoyed these cupcakes over a few days. Would highly recommend their berry flavors, really well done.

Pay your workers fairly and stop placing passive aggressive signs on your door claiming it's a lack of qualified workers. It's a lack of fair pay. Be better to the people that work for you.

Hands down the best cupcakes on the planet! So unique and delicious. This shop is one of the things that makes me miss living in Portland. Every time I come back I buy 4 dozen to put on dry ice and bring home. A dozen for myself, and 3 dozen to hand out to friends here in town. They are so delicious!

Mushrooms + Cupcakes, what's not to love? I'd been wanting to visit Toadstool Cupcakes ever since I saw them on Instagram. The cupcakes themselves are so adorable. Each one shaped like a small, colorful toadstool mushroom. The toadstool cupcake is constructed with a fluffy cupcake base and a creamy light mousse on top. The mousse is then coated in a delicious confectionary shell, decorated to resemble a mushroom. There are a variety of flavors to choose from and each cupcake has a unique pattern/design and color palette reflecting the flavor profile of the cupcake + mousse combination inside. The flavors are on rotation so make sure to check in ahead of time to see what flavors they might have that day. Although they're a little pricey, they're definitely a wonderful treat to gift someone special...or yourself (of course)!

I ordered and paid online. Pulled into a parking space, and called to receive my order. It was easy and delicious. They are small sized cupcakes, but have a high dome.

My wife and I literally just spotted this place while driving and decided to go in. It's a pretty plain looking shop but they have plenty of awesome looking mini cupcakes; it seems that they focus more on being a bakery than trying to make the place aesthetic but that's okay! The cupcakes themselves were tasty. They've got plenty of flavors so anyone will find something they like. I think the only problem I have is the way the cupcakes are shaped almost sort of hinders them in a way. Like the cupcake is too big for you to just shove the entire thing in your mouth, and the frosting dome on top makes it kind of hard to get a proportional cake to frosting bite ratio. But if you don't mind making a little bit of a mess while you eat good cupcakes, check this place out!

I ordered a dozen cupcakes for my daughter's birthday last Thursday. Easy to order online. Picked up two days later-- convenient with designated parking, and the cupcakes were delicious and beautiful. And 20% cheaper than any other bakery I could find!

Simply aesthetically pleasing as well as delicious! So many flavors to choose from. Love the variety of non chocolate flavors as well.

I give 2 stars because the three times I've come here, the customer service was mediocre at best. The cupcakes deserve 5 stars though. Tastes great and looks amazing. The first time, no one was at the counter and despite my shouting, no one showed up for 5 minutes. I almost left. But when they got there, they couldn't explain the difference in flavors. Dark chocolate and milk chocolate and red velvet are all the same?! Okay. Why do you sell them separately? I'm confused. The third time just happened. It is myBirthday and I wanted to get some cupcakes to share with my friends. I work 8-4:30 and it takes me 30 min to get home.To their credit, I showed up at 5:01, literally. They close at 5:00. That's valid. Hours are hours. I understand the plight of a minimum wage worker and know they should be compensated for work. But dear god, the door was locked and the worker just shook her head when I tried to open. One minute late?! She didn't care at all.How is a dessert store open during the day when most customers are at work but not at night when people want dessert?Cupcakes are awesome. The staff definitely don't care about this place. Glad it's survived COVID though.

These are some of the best cupcakes I have ever had. Usually when I get cupcakes from a bakery they are much too sweet to the point where all you can taste is sugar. These cupcakes are perfectly balanced so the wonderful flavors shine through. This is my new go to cupcake shop. I can't wait to give these cupcakes as a gift to my family and friends.
