Used to be one of my favorite spots and I would go there once a week at least but they took out the seating and now there is no where to work, relax or talk with a friend. The loss of a queer friendly meeting space in the neighborhood is heartbreaking. We don't have any need for a high-end convenience store with both MoC and Plaid Pantry in the area. This move just seems bizarre.

I know a lot of people might not like the change from a sit down coffee shop to a “to-go” coffee shop, but honestly? I’ve been coming to Triumph more and more since they switched, because the atmosphere is so much warmer and more welcoming. Before it felt like every time I came in people were glaring daggers at me, but now there’s not that feeling and I feel more relaxed and at ease.Plus the coffee is amazing, and the quick bread is always on point. I cannot recommend Triumph enough if you’re in the area!!

This place calls itself a "market", but all they sell is overly priced junk food. So unless you love paying $9 for a box of Fruit Loops (not a joke), I'd recommend Wellspent Market just up the road if you want to shop local, or just bite the bullet and go to Plaid Pantry. Heck, Triumph even makes Market of Choice seem reasonably priced which is something I never thought I'd say.

It's so great to have a corner store in the neighborhood with great coffee open late. I liked coming here before when there was lots of seating but you can still get great coffee and sandwiches and also snacks and drinks for later. Always welcoming and well curated.

So sad to see this place change from a warm inviting environment to such a sterile corner store. It was my favorite coffee shop and when I moved a few blocks further away I started driving in because of the joy it brought. With the changes and lack of seating, there’s no sense in going anymore. I hope the best for the new venture but it’s sadly not for me anymore.

Been coming here for 8 years, and I love it. I know a lot has changed, and it’s no longer a sit-down space, but everything about it is still wonderful. I actually really appreciate the corner store vibes. I would rather buy from a local, queer friendly corner store. The breakfast sandwiches are heavenly!! All of the staff are so friendly and sweet as well ♥️ I am so, so glad that this neighborhood staple has survived the pandemic and is thriving!

One of our favorite places in SE Portland to get fresh breakfast bagel sandwiches! ? Affordable prices, fresh and local ingredients always. The staff are always so friendly and helpful, the atmosphere of the shop is also super cute and cozy. Highly recommend!

Came for coffee and got the Honey Habanero latte, Honey Turmeric latte, and a swirly mushroom pastry that I can't recall the name of. Phenomenal. The Honey Habanero latte was actually spicy and so delicious on a rainy morning. The Honey Turmeric had delicious Turmeric warmth to it and was equally tasty. The pastry was served warm and had great flavors while being very simple. Cute little area in the front of the store with stools and windows to look outside. Briefly perused the coolers with drinks and found a varied selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beer and Cider. Also a small section with cheeses and sodas, and some varieties of chocolate on the shelf. Tldr: Super cute place, great coffee and snacks!!

I'd been coming to Triumph Coffee for years before I moved out of town briefly last year. Now I've returned to find everything changed for the worse. This used to be the cafe I recommended that everyone go to if they were anywhere near the area. Nearly everything that made me recommend it has changed now. The cozy and welcoming environment is gone and there's barely any place to sit inside. It feels eerily like being in a gentrified 7/11. The food and coffee may be as good as they ever were, but you'll have to ask someone else about them. For my part I'm never coming back.

Nice new concept. Market/coffee. Small yet interesting selection. Friendly staff. Worth paying attention to.

Cute place and staff is friendly. One star removed as this is not a hangout spot for coffee and a little of work to be done. Only seating area is the window with a few stools which is not ideal for hangout/work. Bummer. I came last year and coffee was good but it has more open space and seating. Great place for a quick bite and coffee to go.

I ordered the Vegan Breakfast Sandwich, which is cheese, sausage, and chipotle aioli on an English muffin (or bagel). I ordered "for here," but they didn't tell me everything is served as takeout, so they put my sandwich in a small bag within a larger bag. They put my partner's sandwich in another two bags. Even though the bags are paper, it's still wasteful and unnecessary. The sandwich was underwhelming, especially for the price.

loving the new mini mart, great snacks, boozes, coffee, foods. So far, not full of homeless returning cans like Plaid.

The owner is mean. And the staff is unhappy. The drinks are bad. The food is plastic. The prices are unwarranted.
